One staff member, Jimmy, who works in radiology, went above and beyond the call of duty, and my husband and I would like to give special acknowledgement for his kindness and extraordinary effort on our behalf. My husband is an insulin dependent diabetic who had been by my side for hours as I was being diagnosed and treated for what had originally been diagnosed as gastroenteritis at another urgent care facility. We were referred to WakeMed for further examination. Because we are vegetarians, Jimmy went out of his way to get my husband some food in order to prevent him from having a low blood sugar episode. It's hard to find the right words to explain the atmosphere. The inside was cooked perfectly with lots of melted cheese and adequate amounts of eggs and steak. The outside of the tortilla was perfectly toasted and had that great toasted after taste.
