Do not let that discourage you. I ordered the Red Snapper with Black Rice and Fried plantains. Boy, that thing had an awesome presentation and full of flavor in every bite. “What to say about Sonny's BBQ? The food was delicious, exceeding my expectations of a great macaroni and cheese. The beef brisket was very lean and the ribs looked great. The corn bread was amazing and the coleslaw was incredibly balanced in flavor. The service was nice and they followed all of the COVID-19 recommendations and best practices for social distancing and cleaning requirements. This specific restaurant is the new concept for Sonny's, which makes it look much more modern and I'm so glad that qualify doesn't seem to have been affected. Keep it up!”

“Went on a Saturday Eve. Very loud but lots of nice people having fun. Full Latin flavor but everyone was pleasant. You'll get frisked on the way in. Waitresses are pleasant but forgetful. Got an $11 bottle of Johnny Walker for $60. Had a massive platter of very well fried appetizers which were very good. Overall pleasant just loud and pricey. I bet the restaurant side does a good job.”

“One of the best Waffle Houses I have been in. Hashbrowns were very crispy with nicely browned pieces of sweet onion added. Waffle was a nice golden tan, crisp on the outside and tender in the middle. The syrup soaked in nicely and was tasty. The help was attentive but not too much. The coffee was surprisingly good also. Good place for breakfast anytime!”
