“I usually visit this location or the location on Military & Le Chalet (shout out to Franklin! lol).. this location has added some new crew.. they are good and I rarely run into a situation where I need to leave & go to another 7/11 because the cashier is unable to complete a transaction.. The current crew is polite & quite competent. Updated from 1 star.. (There was an employee here who would just refuse service, and claim it could not be done.. Lotto computer shuts down at midnight, unless this employee was up front alone..he would not allow a ticket to be checked past 10pm..claimed could not be done, even when you could clearly see the machine was online and working.. Worse, was he could not load $$ onto a prepaid credit card.. not knowing how is ok, once or twice, but to never learn month after month.. to the point that if i pulled up and saw him behind the counter, i had to back up and leave because I knew he could not/would not do his job fully, the other employees could, no problem..even when another employee would be there & do the transaction, this employee would not even watch to learn how it was done, literally.. lol.. it was comically insane & sometimes very frustrating if pressed for time) Updated from 1 star & changed written review because the current crew is on point & does not deserve a 1 star rating, they are 4 stars .... In my previous review of this location I rated 1 star because the one employee, but mostly because of one interaction with the owner & I left no doubt about how displeased I was with how the owner handled a situation that left me with an empty gas tank & out $30 (was refunded 3 days later) It was an unfortunate perfect storm on a bad day, in a worse week, during a horrible month.. & I was guilty of the overly critical, not really justified "1 star bad review" .. I could not let that stand or be one of "those people".... Now for a PSA!!!! Don't be one of them either!! You know the type........ those reviews people leave saying "I've been coming to ______ for 12 years. Today I had horrible service!" and then leave 1 star!! So pathetic & childish! I often wish I could reply to them & ask.. .. .. Well, if you've been going for 12 years, you must really like that place! Have you ever once rated them positively? Ever once left a review voicing your 12 years of pleasant experiences?! You must have been happy to keep going back for 12 years!! But No.. I see this is your 1 review in 12 years! The one time you choose to throw your 2cents in, you post to the place that many will use to decide if they will visit place A or B or C .. you chose to betray & damage the reputation of a place you obviously enjoy frequenting! ONE bad day out of 12 years and you choose to throw shade that covers the globe & sticks like spray tan to trump and can repel new customers like trump does the truth! So, lol.. anyhow.. I amend my rating to accurately reflect my opinion of the stores current crew.. respectively.. and to let those "1 star review" crybabies know how pathetic they are & they should be 86'd from ever returning to a place they do dirty like that..over 1 bad day in xx years! Give'em an iDtenT form to fill out & tell'em "this place obviously isn't for you anymore.. bye bye!"”

“My son has been attending The Learning Place for the past 8 month. My son has SCD and finding a school that could accommodate him was very hard. Not only did his teacher take the time to ask question and learn more about his condition all of the staff seem to be knowledgeable so that any teacher could fill in in his classroom. The staff and the owner knows me by name and seem to genuinely care about the children in their care. My son love his teacher Ms. Sarah. He even talk about her over the weekend. I would highly recommend this preschool to anyone who is looking for a loving preschool environment for their children.”

“I went to this gas station tonight. I was treated with great courtesy by both cashiers. There was nothing along the line of you're of this ethnic background, I was treated fairly and as a human being. I told my cashier that this Shell station was one of the most relaxed Shells I've been to. My cashier went above and beyond.”
