“I love Sanford. The St Johns River is beautiful. The city has done a great job beautifying the area downtown around the park & river. They put bench seating and Pavilions in a while back and it's a nice place to either take a stroll or have a party for your kids. There's some appealing restaurants/bar establishments around the area & it's a pleasant laid back atmosphere.”

Then get to know the city in the historical part, with very interesting buildings of the time. Good restaurants and a Saturday fair of natural products and handicrafts. I recommend.”

“Beautiful park with plenty of room to roam or sit and read or just simply relax. We found some friendly birds the day we were there by the pond and museum. We spotted a small gator in the lake just across the street. Beautiful large trees to lounge under and lots of tables with grills. Definitely enjoy this park. There's playground equipment and a splash zone for the kiddos.”

“This place has some really good pizza. The wings are average taste better than some wing places. The service is usually fast I really like the location of the restaurant, which is on the river front. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others, it was recommended to me because of the pizza. I rated 4 stars because I haven't tried other items just pizza and wings. Their prices are set at a good price.”

“The Captains and crew members were the best you could have. One of the owners (it's a family owned business) gave a history of the river and the ship. All spiced with humor, our party consisted of 50 people and our sister park had the same headcount. All meals were served in 28 minutes not a cold plate in the house. I have never seen such an efficient staff, friendly and courteous all with a touch of humor. The good was excellent and if you went away hungry it was your fault. Would recommend this cruise not be missed. Well done St. John's Rivership Co.”
