“Really like the office folks. Very welcoming. This is more old time Daytona. Nothing particularly fancy, but right on the water. Nice patio area for their hot dog cookout. Easy beach access, small, but clean pool. Good location for us. Went during bike week for a baseball tournament, so, added bonus.”

“Check in was great! Bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean!!!!!!!! View of ocean was great! It looked like people were really enjoying the pool and hot tub! Breakfast area was very large. Bed was extremely comfortable!!! Chip activated room keys was a plus! Room was very quiet!! You don't often get that @ a hotel! One thing that definitely was not worthy of being 5 stars is the parking!!!! I had a really small car and I just about backed or drove into several vehicles! There just isn't hardly enough room! So if you have a regular size or large vehicle just be careful!! I think this is my only complaint!”

“The owner accommodated us getting in so late the night we came in. He was both kind and professional when we also needed to add on another room at the last minute. It's a quaint motel, clean and the decor looks fresh. The shower is NICE waterfall type head. Right in the beach and across from a couple of restaurants and gift shop.”

“Another return stay for at this property which in my opinion is the golden standard of hospitality, located on the pristine Daytona Beach Shores. Regardless of if this hotel was located in any other place, it would have my patronage as the facilities are top notch. The design is wonderfully cool and modern with the rooms containing separate living quarters and a full size kitchen with the most modern of appliances. This was great for the Italian band I was tour managing as they were able to cook some items they had been missing back home. I like the fact that each room has two TVs, and the beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever experienced. Our room was on the second floor so the outside door opened to a massive private patio. The property has an awesome bar and delicious restaurant, both of which are very reasonably priced. On property pool and hot tub are so cool and modern - really love the accent lighting. But the thing that boosts my opinion to the ceiling here is the all star team of hospitality heros here. Every single team member will always greet you, and every team member seems genuine and happy. I’ve never seen such a great crew of people. Can’t speak highly enough about this property and can’t wait to come back on leisure.”

“Wonderful oceanside motel with a great pool area/deck which is perfect for watching a sunrise. Family owned independent establishment with wonderful service. Rooms are spacious with plenty of amenities. The complementary toothpaste was a nice surprise. Only complaint is the mattress was hard as a rock. If you like a very firm mattress you'll be fine, but if you prefer softer you might have issues. Outside of that it's a terrific place to stay and I'd certainly book with them again.”

“A clean location right on the beach. Easy parking for the car. Fast and friendly check-in by the desk staff. Resort provides towel exchange every day and best of all come to you for the exchange on Monday , Wednesday and Friday. The pool area is very nice and several times during the week provided music and trivia game for those in the pool area. Best feature is a great location close to area attractions, the best one being the beach which is right out back gate.”

“I stayed here for 1 night in June 2019. It was a fantastic stay. We would have liked to stay for longer but it wasn't in the cards. Ocean view room was just spectacular with respect to the view. Bed was nice and offered a fantastic sleep. The staff surprised my gf and I by dropping off a complimentary bottle of wine with a plate of grapes and cheese. This was such fortunate timing as we were hungry and we were looking for a snack and a drink! I still remember the view, the smell of the ocean, and the warmth of the sun from the room. Recommended.”

“The staff is very helpful. Hotel is nicely designed. It has two pools, adult only and kids pool. The hotel has access to the exclusive sandy beach. Breakfast is nice and the menu is well designed. It is a family friendly place. The only downside is the drink and food menu by the pool. The menu is overpriced and the food portion is super small. I ordered shrimp tacos, and it looked like a mini taco for the price of way above average. I will still consider this place for our next visit.”

“Beautiful property with friendly staff! I called ahead to request a lower floor if possible for our oceanfront room, and the staff not only fulfilled that request, but also surprised us with a happy birthday cookie delivery for my daughter. The room and pool facilities were great, and we loved ordering lunch and drinks poolside. I would definitely stay at The Confidante again!”

“Westgate is a very nice beachfront hotel , pretty close to the Faena, Edition and the Fontainnebleau. “A quaint boutique hotel just far enough away from the hustle of south beach. The bed was super comfortable, room was nicely appointed with homey touches ( bedside old fashioned clock). We only had one robe - and the restocking fee of $25 on the mini bar made it not practical to use for a bottle of water. There are in room bottles of liquor if you so desire. The beach chairs and umbrellas across the street were very easy to utilize. The beach drink menu is very limited and it took about 30 minutes to get a beverage, but other than the wait we really enjoyed our time. Even getting a bottle of water at the hotel bar was slow. The hotel is a little noisy given the way it is made, but we did not have any trouble getting a good nights sleep. I would return to this hotel again.”

“Beautiful describes every aspect of Riu! Our room was upgraded when we arrived at 930 Am. I was prepared to stow our luggage and walk in Miami until 3 pm check in. We were blessed to ???? be shown to our room so early! Staff wonderful, breakfast buffet included was tasty and expansive. On the beach! Free lounges at beach and ☂️ and towels. Love it ????”
