As a chef, I wanted to grasp what was a popular dish and ordered a dish for myself that brought me back to a comfort home reminder! The fried chicken W/gravy and biscuits. It was delicious and filling. Yet I gravitated to the other plates that were brought to our table and found the Chilean sea bass to be the superior shining light of this restaurants offerings! If you’re in Laguna Beach I strongly suggest stopping here as the appetizers itself are filling enough and delicious also. Rooms were very clean! Can’t wait to see what they look like when they’re finished. Met Rachel the assistant general manager and Alexis this housekeeping manager at the front desk. They were super helpful and answered my many questions. Alexis was kind enough to show me a room before checking in.”

“Nice little hotel right next to the airport and down the street from the John and Mable Ringling art museum. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were big and clean. Good size bathroom as well. There is also a pool. The downtown is about a 15min drive. Overall it was a pleasant stay.”

“Let me start by saying, this had to of been the best experience my dog and I have had. They have a great understanding and caring staff. They explained everything to me before ,showed me pictures of other animals before and after and when I went to the back where they brought me my baby after the cleaning, they showed me my pets before and after. Considering the vet wanted to charge me $500 to $600 for this procedure.And just like a human being after they get their teeth cleaned I could tell that I was going to have to buy softer food for her which I did just to make sure she didn’t have a problem with the teeth or eating...she now has the nicest cleanest teeth and fresh breath that She have ever had...And yes I will be bringing my pet back here to get her teeth cleaned if they ever get that bad again”

We bought our place kinda in a rush last year when we moved because everything was selling quick. Would I buy here again? Maybe, but I would definitely look around at other parks.”

“Loved staying here at this hotel for my birthday weekend/Memorial Day weekend. We booked a premium ocean view room at the newer Opal building (built in 2017). The ocean view room has a view to the pool and the beach. If you want a full-blown oceanfront, you need to get a Ocean front room. Next door was construction but I didn't hear any noises. The service was wonderful. Dan the Concierge was amazing. He was so helpful. He even helped my husband plan a birthday surprise for me and he had a scented candle from the hotel as a gift for me. The service was great at breakfast and dinner. The pool was very nice with games for kids. There is a direct access to the beach. 2 beach chair are included in your hotel stay and you can rent an umbrella for $20.”

“I've been staying or living on and off a long time in Star Motel or other motel hotels on Okeechobee Rd...I conceived in this Motel and was pregnant here at a young age even worked at Stonewall Lounge while living here.The place is better than a trailer park and there are some really nice rooms and the owner whom I've known since a kid growing up in Miami Springs and playing in his house...really cares and goes above and beyond to help his people.Just don't burn the bridge with him and you will always have a place to stay on a cold night or hot day...provided you can put up with the Security Guard...lol and they have a room.”

I had blowout on US1, night before, first thing in AM. I called. They ordered a new tire, it was in that afternoon. It took 35 min. And they checked other 3 tires.. Always a great experiences deal with them.”

“The on site manager was very nice and helpful. He did what ever he could to make our stay comfortable. The residents that lived there were very nice as well. My husband and I aren't afraid of people we don't know, we're cautious, but give respect where we want to receive it. The pool was very clean the rooms were okay, outdated, but clean. We thought we were getting a large kitchen, but it worked. Don't expect a 5 star hotel, it's not, but it works. The location to the beach was great and not too far from local stores and restaurants. The Casino was about 15-20 minutes away. Plenty to do when catching an urber. No kids though... not the place. We stayed May of 2021”

“The view from this gorgeous unit is fantastic. The condo is perfectly clean and 5min from the best beaches in the US. A previous review mentions the smell. The Causeway smells like that because of algae bloom. It is not the condo. Just shut the windows and enjoy a beautiful condo, with an awesome view, and an arm's length away from white sand beaches. We will definitely be back.”
