“My husband and I booked Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park for our wedding ceremony (elopement) and it was an amazing experience. We only spent a few hundred dollars to be married on a beautiful and peaceful beach with that scenic lighthouse back drop. We had a morning ceremony and Bill Baggs helped us arrange an off duty ranger to let us in the park before it officially opened to the public. During the ceremony it was just myself, my husband, our officiant and our photographer on the beach. Bill Baggs even let us return the following day to actually make the payment so we didn't have to stress about any of that on our wedding day. The planning vendor we used for this location was Small Miami Weddings, and they were also completely amazing.”

They let us in, were super polite & this was my best experience visiting. The woman working gave me an avocado to take home as we were leaving. It’s my birthday today and she didn’t even know it, and it honestly made my entire day. The same guy is always working there which makes me feel like he really knows what he’s talking about. He’s so polite, as well as the other staff members. This place is beyond kid friendly and a foodie heaven. I’ve never had a bad experience here”

The wait time for others to mount should not be part of our ride time. Our wranglers were very nice. I think the only thing I noticed is you could use nicer tack. “Nice little walk, kinda mucky with roots in the middle of the trail. Trail is .03 if a mile, but has nice benches along the way. Possible flooding at high tide or in the rainy season. Also used by bikers, so keep watch. Has a really nice new pavilion with picnic tables. New signs along the path.”

“Came for the mountain bike trail and was disappointed. It's a very short trail with debris all over the place. It's not marked, so there is no safe way to ride without risking running into someone else. It is a very easy course, but the debris could be a problem for beginners. In need of a good mountain bike club to fix this place up! I gave a higher rating because it does have restrooms, skate park, playground, exercise area, and nice paved bike trails.”

“We have anchored for several days near the Timucuan ecological preserve. Very quiet and beautiful. Easy to get to the trails from the boat using our dinghy to get ashore. The trails are well marked and not crowded. The wildlife and birds are plentiful. Highly recommended. Off course the preserve can also be accessed by road although I have never done it.”

“We really enjoyed our evening at Lake Park. The day price was very inexpensive and very clean. We brought our sons new RC car to the RC track. The crowd there was great and even though his was only a toy and nothing like the ones the big boys were driving they still welcomed him and made the entire experience enjoyable. We also took a nature walk on one of the many easily accessible trails. The sights were beautiful. The picnic areas were very clean and well maintained. We’ll definitely be back.”

“Beautiful little park for anyone that wants to relax and find a small spot to let your mind free. It's also a dog park so it is setup with the amenities you need to walk your dog there which is nice. There is also a small playground for the little ones. The best part about this park is the view out to the bay. Keep in mind there is no parking lot. You will have to park on the side of the street.”

“Everytime I go to this park is so nice and calm. It's on the small side but always so quiet and peaceful, even on Sunday when people don't have work. Mostly people walking their dogs. It's also in a quiet neighborhood just a few cars here and there. There's a playground for kids, on the small side as well but still nice.”
