“It is a small park ideally for very young kids from ages 1-4 years old. Not much to do for kids five years old and above unless they want to play basketball and soccer in the open field. The park is well lit at night and many teenagers use the basketball field sometimes late at night. The park is well kept and recently they have added a large table and a mobile toilet that is okay to use for on an emergency basis only. Most times not many people (kids) in this park unless there is a soccer team, baseball team or neighborhood event. It is a great park if you live close by and need to have a quick park to go to.”

“The policy of uniform, flush-to-ground headstones is wonderful. Having visited family plots at Westlawn to grieve...the crowded headstones are a distraction....almost like visiting someone in jail. The open space at Shalom allows one to pray and grieve at a family member's plot...without so much distraction. Don't know who pioneered this policy, but thank you.”

“I go here almost every day to ride my bike and it's nothing short of amazing. There's a large hill to go down, and another very steep off-trail one that use a lot. Highly recomend, but don't use the hill too much! :)”

“Small playground in the center of a clean, quiet neighborhood. Equipment is great for 2+. There is minimal shade - the equipment can get hot. The park has two benches & two picnic tables. Not much to do for my 1.5yr old. But my 7 & 5 yr old have fun.”

“Just north of Poe elementary school. Soccer field and baseball diamond. Past that a playground but definitely designed more for older 4+ year old kids.”

“Went to watch fireworks on the 4th of July up on the hill of Nickol Knoll and I was blown away. I was able to see distant firework shows all around, including the ones happening on the lakefront. It's also a great place to watch storms rolling in ????”
