“This is a beautiful park. Of course the views of Lake Michigan are fantastic and amazing. But what says this park apart from most others are the trails. The stone trails are awesome, basically perfect. It's a bit hidden, not the easiest to find or to find parking, but it's just a beautiful park.”

“Always a great place for a nature hike. Today's sightings include: a beer busy building, a white egret, a great blue heron on a nest, feeding it's very ready to fledged offspring, numerous goldfinches, a northern leopard forg, several turtles, and a comorant. Heard a kingfisher but never saw it. All in 45 minutes of time.”

“This place is great. Two parks, several baseball diamonds, a skate park, the leisure center all nestled in the downtown Deerfield area... A great place to spend an hour or two with the kids. Separate play areas for small (2-3 years) and larger (4+) kids and nearby bathrooms and water fountains. The library is right there too if you need to stop in and cool off.”

“We have been going to the first preserve for the last 12 years. This place is one of my favorites. It is close to the suburb I live in. We go there with family. Escape from the busy life. There are few small rivers and ponds. Good maps different lengths from just few hundred feet to almost mile and half the large one. There are horse, bike, and human trails. U can also book one of many shelters for your gatherings.”
