“The most AMAZING food I've ever had. Every single dish here is divine; very much worth the price (each app is about $10-$12, each entree is about $28-$30). The service is fabulous; our server, Lauren, heard that it was our first time in New Orleans and gave us a free bowl of gumbo and also dessert on the house. We ended up ordering the gumbo, it was THAT good! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu; of the hundreds of restaurants I've visited for the Google Guides program, this is the FIRST restaurant where every menu item from the appetizers to the desserts was 11/10. If you want a real New Orleans experience, eat here.”

“So many people to thank at this Hotel. but my hero is Johnathon. He is incredibly patient. He is knowledgeable, kind and considerate. This will be our third stay at the Hampton at the convention center, and every time has been nothing but a joyous and amazing stay, Shout outs to all your staff and especially Johnathon.”

“Glenn, 1 of the B&B owners was very personable. He personally draws on a map the hot spots in the French Quarter. Our 1st night we arrived, he personally drove us through the French Quarter, giving us a little 1st hand tour, since it was the 1st time we've been in New Orleans. I loved his entertaining story telling & his historical knowledge of Louisiana. The house had beautiful antique decor, looking like a pristine museum of a historical home. Grr8 delicious homemade hot breakfasts every a.m. There were unlimited complimentary coffee, tea, water, soda, snacks & bowls of fresh fruit, which no hotel has ever offered. A wonderful homey B&B where we stayed 4 enjoyable nights. It was my 1st experience at a B&B. Now any other B&B I go to will have an awful lot of expectations to compare to the gracious southern hospitality we received at the H.H. Whitney House!”

“The room was clean and comfortable. Easy drive into the city. The other guests were really loud. I thought it would be quieter not staying in New Orleans but the night before my half marathon, I was awakened hourly between 1am and 4am by loud guests returning or leaving. It was much better Sunday night.”

“Nice little hotel with much history. My brother held his wedding here, which I wouldn’t suggest doing in summer due to temp. Thankfully the pool was nice, friendly folks hanging out, great staff. Temper your expectations as the building is very very old, but that adds to the charm. Would stay here again for sure.”

“When I was a young girl in elementary school, my parents and I stayed here, since Daddy was on vacation and I was out of school at the time. It was one of the most beautiful hotels in the entire French Quarter! Highly recommend!”

“Pros: Great location for conference attendees, right across the convention center, 15-20 min walk/1 mile from Bourbon St. Staff is amazing, very friendly. Breakfast has good variety, 3 different juices and fresh! fruit. Good size rooms. They respect the "don't disturb" tag on the door. Cons: the room is kinda dirty (ex: lost fake nail on the carpet from previous visitor), no pool, no on site parking only valley for $35 per a day.”
