“Great outdoor pool during the summer season. Water can get a little chilly on cloudy days but in the sun there's no better pool around. Great spaces for kids with wading, water features, and slides to have fun and space adults to swim as well. Come early on hot days, the pool has a maximum capacity and you can't get in if it's full.”

“I passed the sign on the highway and decided to stop. Glad I did this is a great park to visit. Loads to see and explore. Be prepared to walk it is spread out. Would be a great place for active younger kids, well preserved so doesn’t take a lot of imagination to see the gun placements manned and ready for action. It is off season so some of the buildings are locked but still tons to explore.”

“All the hallmarks of a Maryland State Park... perennially closed bathrooms, high tension power lines, and a baffling mowed-lawn to nature ratio; however, the 9-mile Perimeter Trail is great for hiking / mountain biking. Dogs allowed on leash. $3 per car for MD residents. Fluorescent colors recommended!”
