“It was a nice show. But the long 1 hour wait in a line of cars was crazy. It is a nice show. I get the whole use headlights being traffic is two ways at some points. At the slow speed every one is going the amber running lights should be good enough. That way the person behind you doesn't have their lights shining in the windows.”

“I started visiting Governor Bridge about 6 years ago and heartily recommend it for birders. In my experience it's especially good for Spring and Fall Warblers, not so good in the Winter. I live in Annapolis, and it's my go-to place for Cuckoos (Both), and Scarlet Tanagers. Fox Sparrows are abundant at times, and the lake hosts Osprey and Wood Ducks. I'm also fond of macro photography and Governor Bridge has a good variety of insects and flora.”

“Great place, friendly staff if you have young children. Turtles, fish, crows, birds of prey aviary, snakes. Close to the playground. In the summer we park at the center, then hit the playground, carousel, miniature train and Old Maryland Farm then take one of the short trails back.”
