“Fantastic place for camping or vanning. Lots of space, can be a bit tricky to find your assigned lot but it's a really quiet and peaceful place. There are men and women restrooms, each one heated with a spacious and private shower, which really came in handy. Each lot has a grill and firewood, and the grounds are monitored by park rangers and a campground host. There are trails for hiking, and the metro and shopping/food are close by as well. We paid $20 a night for 3 nights. I highly recommend.”

“Super cool and unique experience. Do not take small children to the dig site, the park connected is fine for them. This is a legit place to help find pieces of real bones and fossils. You must be able to follow instructions and be mindful of what you are doing. Helpful staff and a great experience. My son(age 9) and I each found things to be collected for the Smithsonian. If you find something, it will be bagged and your name will be attached as a founder. First Saturday every month. Read website ahead.”

“Exceeds expectation! This place was so great to call home for 3 months. Every amenity you can think of. Clean and accommodating. Staff is amazing to work with. Even went direct to my site and let my dog out when dog walker didn’t show up. Pool and splash park very clean. Sauna and hot tub as well. Cafe on site was clean and delicious. On site mechanics are certified and unbelievably fast to help with any concern. Just a hop on the bus in the park to metro to DC or a short drive. Just down the road both ways are grocery stores, hardware stores and just about anything else you could need. Love this place.”
