“*My hotel rankings are based on expectations and general quality, this is not like a AAA 5 diamond rating* The hotel room was clean, spacious and had a great view of the marsh and bay. There is a little dock and multiple seating areas to enjoy the scenery. Breakfast is standard Holiday inn fare, but again, clean, fresh and well maintained. Staff were friendly. A short walk to multiple restaurants.”

“I have owned my mobile home now for over 12 years in this community. It is very peaceful and the neighbors watch out for each other. Much wildlife around to see. Ground rent is less then some other mobile home parks around. Fishing close by in Bush River. If you like peace and quiet, this is a nice place for that.”

“Our wedding here was magical. Jim the owner was flexible and great to work with, the bartenders we friendly and the service was great, the property was beautiful, and even the weather held off for us. We had a wonderful experience with Woodlawn and would recommend them to all.”

“Nice, clean, no usual "hotel odor", beautiful rooms and accepts AAA for discount. Staff very nice, the morning front desk lady very sweet and smiled and helped us join the Wyndham rewards program to start earning a free night! Continental breakfast, however, just pass on it. No fruit, stale English muffins. They give you a huge list and directions to all restaurants near the hotel, very smart and a very kind thing to do.”

“The location of this hotel for my visit to Historic Gettysburg was ideal. It was maybe a 10 minute ride, if that. The rooms (my stay was for two rooms, for two weekend nights) were adequate. There was no microwave in the room and no tub for the kiddies. It was clean upon arrival and was kept clean by my family's light use/maintenance and hotel services. Breakfast was adequate, but foodservice was excellent. I value service over grounds, rooms, and other amenities. The service at this hotel, especially the front desk, is exceptional.”

“I thought the Ruffled Duck Inn was a very good value for the money. It was only $ 150 a night in an area where Inns charged $ 300. The inn is small but we were very comfortable during our stay. The innkeepers, Joyce and Denise took good care of us. The breakfast was very good. They had a Keurig so we could have coffee, tea, or cocoa at anytime. I would recommend it to friends.”

“Great atmosphere and excellent food”

“Wonderful little historic inn located in Oxford, MD. Great views of the Tred Avon River. Rooms were very comfortable but quite funky. This inn was built in 1710, so don't expect modern comfort and construction. Floors were uneven. The bathroom a converted closet. But, that is what gives it its charm. It is not cookie cutter. And, the food is amazing. The breakfasts are included and there is a wide variety. The dinners are wonderful as well (in fact,we ended up eating there twice). There was a guitarist playing the next night to add to the atmosphere. Simply everything about the place was enjoyable and relaxing. If you are looking or a place to go to get away from the rush, I highly recommend coming here.”

“Historic building in the middle of beautiful shipwrights town of St Michaels Maryland. Part of the old brick inn, rumor has it Robert E Lee ghost can be seen on the steps. Love the character of this place and the staff is great.”

“We enjoyed our stay here, even in January. They should call this one a breakfast and bed. Our room was very clean and comfortable, but the morning meal was tremendous and the hospitality was the best.”

“Stopped in for breakfast this morning and the food was really good. The cook is very experienced and has been there for years. I had the breakfast buffet that is reasonably priced and had eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, and chopped beef. My wife had a strawberry and banana crepe that was the best looking and tasting crepe she ever had, wonderful presentation. The cook made me my usual ham and cheese omlet and it was cooked to perfection. They also have fresh fruit, bagels, waffles, cereals, yogurt and more. The coffee is plentiful and tastes great. Really a good place to go to relax and have a good breakfast to start the day.”

“I can't say enough about how great this entire organization is! The staff is courteous and hard working. The owners really look out for your boat and make sure it is cared for like they own it. Service is speedy; I was launched on time or boat was waiting for me in the water every single time. Dont hesitate to use their facility. you wont be dissapointed.”

“Absolutely loved this place!! The view right on the water was heavenly! Yes the tide comes in and raises the river but I did my research before we left home so I knew ahead of time. As far as the sites being small some are pretty tight but if you let the staff know when booking how big your camper AND tow vehicle are they will accommodate you. The staff are the nicest people and greet you every time you come into the store with a smile and cheery hello. We will most definitely be back!”
