“Good camaraderie, personalized service, convenience. I've been going 3-4 times per week for the past three years, which is a much better record than I ever racked up at any conventional gym I've ever belonged to. 25 minutes of strength training, 25 minutes of cardio and you're in and out in an hour.”

“Beyond the physical exertion, which is great, it keeps the kids mentally sharp and well grounded in respect, self confidence and humility.”

“We love Velocity. It has had a very positive impact on our son. He has been a member for two years now for general strength and agility training and the improvement in both his physical achievements and self confidence have been tremendous. The staff are great. They provide a lot of encouragement, are educated in exercise science, and do not try to push clients beyond their limits. Velocity will make a difference, we highly recommend it!”

“I have been a member there for 2 months already. When I signed up got a free session with instructor - that was pretty helpful. They got me a program with initial weights. After that there is a web site where you log in and print out a workout every time. After you're done - you log it. I love this! Why I haven't bumped into something like this before? Gym itself doesn't have too much glance, but has a lot of equipment - all what you need for a workout. A lot of cardio upstairs, dumbbell & bars & cable machine downstairs. Instructors are not around all the time, but: - there is a great book with pictures and instructions on how to do exercises. I'm not sure that that's the best way for complete newbies, helps a lot if know the basics. - you can always reach out to instructor and schedule a session (I think you need to pay for it, first was free). Overall - great next-door gym, which isn't overcrowded and has all the stuff I need.”

“I find that the appointment requirement at Get In Shape for Women keeps me accountable and makes me leave work because I have to get to the gym at a certain time. Otherwise I would stay at work and say I will go to the gym later - and never go. Once I get there it is wonderful to have a trainer to tell you what to do and give you a regimen that works for your body type. The staff at Get In Shape is friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working. I know I am healthier and in better condition than I have been in years. Thank you to all the staff at the Billerica Get In Shape for Women!”

“I love the hands on personal attention I receive. The ladies in my class are fun and friendly. I love walking in and being greeted by the instructors with a big smile and lots of enthusiasm! The exercises are fun and they change them up and make it interesting. If you have any physical limitations like a bad knee or shoulder they are great about working around that. It is more money than some of the large clubs. But we’ll worth it for the personal attention and a real “no judgement zone”!!!”

“I have always been closed-minded to yoga. After a substantial spinal injury within the last couple of years, a well-known doctor at the Brigham and Women's Hospital recommended yoga as a holistic approach to avoid another surgery and avoid several months of being bed ridden. Flow Yoga came highly referred by several people. From day one walking into Flow Yoga, I felt right at home. The staff is the most talented, beautiful, honest and experienced anywhere. They are patient, yet make you work and are willing to help. They modify everything as needed for anyone that may be going through a set back. I've been with Flow for 8 months now. I have come a long way and in thanks to the girls at Flow. Was also able to avoid another massive spine surgery and I hold Flow Yoga responsible for that, in part. Check out Flow Yoga. You will not be disappointed. Out of 5 stars, I give Flow Yoga 6 stars!”

“I love it at Sanctuary. It has changed my entire way of existing...there is so much love, acceptance, and understanding. It's not just an exercise space or regular old studio...it's truly as the name says...a sanctuary.”

“I started to go to the Open Door Yoga Studios when it moved into the Answer is Fitness gym last year. I consider myself in pretty good shape and work out 5 times a week doing cross fit classes, TRX, and treadmill races. I originally started because a friend told me if would really help build core strength and help rehabilitate a herniated disc I got from doing dead lifts. I quickly learned Power Yoga is about way more than "building your cores" I was amazed at how great a workout I get from Laurie's Power Yoga class at 8:30 on Saturday morning. The class builds core strength, improves flexibility, increased my balance, and really helped me with managing my breath during other hard workouts. I have been able to hit smaller muscle groups and increase my stability across my core, legs and back. In short, if you think yoga is just stretching and breathing - WRONG. This class is about strength and stability and I highly recommend it if you want to take your weight lifting or running to the next level. For the reviewer that says the place is shady, give me a break. If you want to rip people off, I can think of a lot more lucrative ways than pretending to have a yoga studio!”
