“Huge facility overall. The building size is normal. The pools are big. The water is always warm. The showers can get really HOT. Soap is always present in case you've forgotten to bring some. There is a hot tub for adults. There are swim lanes, family times and other activities. The pool is usually not crowded on week days. There is an outdoor pool for summer with a toddler sprinkler area for those hot summer days. There is a facility for indoor ping pong. There is a small kids playground indoors. There is a rock wall for climbing. Overall nice place. YMCA members from other places can use the facility but check with the front desk. Would love the following features in the future Indoor Racket sports (squash/ tennis) Family restrooms for pool access A snack bar for the summer outdoor pool”

“Unfortunately, both of our dogs needed emergency care within a few weeks of each other. Both times we were seen right away and the staff took great care. On the first visit our dog had bloat and torsion and we made the difficult decision of peace. The doctor was very honest but caring through our discussion. Our visit pre-procedure was very calm and when the doctor came in to help put her to rest, it was very peaceful and quick. The staff at the reception were very kind. On the second visit with our second dog, he had internal bleeding, probably from cancer. The vet was so sweet and caring as she listened to everything that happened that caused our concern. She explained our options thoroughly and was very sympathetic to us. Again we were given as much time as needed with him before our procedure. When it came time, the doctor explained everything that would happen and was wonderful throughout the entire experience. While the costs are high, emergencies happen and it's nice to have such a supportive and empathetic staff that do care about both pets and people.”

She is masterful with a pair of scissors and really helped me update my hair to something a lot more fashionable. She took the time to educate me on proper styling techniques (like how to properly use a hair dryer and pomade to achieve the look I wanted!) Edie is easy to talk to, passionate about hair, and overall just a really good person. come here, get pampered, look good, what else could you possibly want? P.s. “This school is great, the classes are small, which means more one on one. It's fun and very hands on, with extremely educational lectures by great teachers. You learn way more than you expect, like I'm in the phlebotomy program now and I just thought we'd be learning how to poke people and hit a vein. Instead of just learning that, we have classes that go over the whole body, med law and ethics classes, CPR and first aid, vitals and EKGs, and so many other things! I honestly enjoy going to class and love the atmosphere.”

“My Aunt stayed here and she loved it. There's not much you can do about being in the last months of your life. She was 92 so when people speak of a depressing atmosphere, what are you gonna do? Being in any one of these places is depressing. But the staff really really cared. They loved her and she loved them. The financing was made easy as the lead finance person really knew what she was doing. It is way out in the boonies but this was a very nice facility with great great people. They make an otherwise very difficult part of life bearable and enjoyable. The staff treats patients and visitors alike with kindness and respect. These were very very nice people and I feel it was one of if not the best care centers available for my aunt Mildred. I've seen many nursing homes over the years (as well as independent living facilities which are much better than nursing homes but at some point you need more extensive care) and Camillus stands out as the best available in my experience.”
