“Drove here from Sioux Falls South Dakota, they still had rims thankfully..I checked the room out before coming inside and it lived up to the Super 8 name. I normally never sit on toilets or put my feet in the showers of motel tubs without shoes on but let me tell you the room I got was absolutely IMMACULATE. I got a non smoking room and there was no smokey smell, bed was clean with several big pillows which looked and smelled like they were freshly washed..,bathroom was SPOTLESS and there were several towels(6) which were nicely and neatly folded.. since I paid with a debit card the $50 deposit was waived. There was a security guard at the front... No people standing outside and the only traffic were people checking in( I know because I left and came several times throughout the night), the place does smell like a dispensary upstairs in the hallways(probably because people smoke inside their rooms) but it didn't bother me and I couldn't smell it once I was inside my room... The back doors do lock at night so you have to use the front entrance but your guests who aren't spending the night (if you have any) can just walk in and come to your room without being hassled or having to check in which was great. The place was also quiet and peaceful. The sad thing is after reading the reviews about this place I started to go somewhere else but my intuition led me here and told me to stay. I am happy with my decision and I will definitely be stay here the next time I come to Minneapolis.”

Located near the Base Exchange and Gym. Great for Battle Assembly weekends or for travelers doing training on the Reserve Station.”

“This is a lovely, homey apartment with beautiful woodwork and big flower urns out front to greet you and help you identify the property. Nestled in one of Minneapolis's great neighborhoods close to lots - most importantly for us, close to our house so that my parents and in-laws could be comfortable and be easily accessible when they came into town for a family event. Would definitely stay there or at another of your properties again.”

“My mom and dad purchased plots from Dawn Valley from a door to door salesman in 1971. It seems that was their preferred method of shopping back then as I have the dictionaries, encyclopedias and brushes to prove it. Lol. They purchased based on location as it was near Bush Lake, which was a center point of fun activities we were doing as a family during the time. I imagine they also chose DV, because it is beautiful, tranquil, and surrounded by nature. This review is based on my mom’s funeral last week. Planning a funeral is no fun. It’s overwhelming, because of the timing and the unknowns. I can say without hesitation that my parents chose well. The staff of Dawn Valley was amazing. They made the process easy, smooth, and stress free. We feared pressure sales. Never did this happen and it was made clear throughout the process they would work with us and it would be perfect. The funeral itself was beautifully done. They chose a wonderful minister, who despite never meeting my mom made us feel like they knew each other. All in all, for a hard thing to go through they made it seamless and stress free. The perfect day for a immensely loved and missed mom. Thank you, Dawn Valley!”

“Where can I start??!! I’ve been here since April and the staff throughout my stay have always been so friendly and helpful. I’m a full time student so I often need quiet to study and they make sure they keep the noise level down in the hotel. It’s hard times for a lot of us and they are always willing to work with you as well. I do my own cleaning(it’s offered to me) but they are always willing to provide clean towels and any toiletries that I need. It’s comfortable and quaint and I am enjoying my stay.”

The continental breakfast had many choices which were quickly replenished, and the eating area was clean. “This Hyatt Place hotel is one of the best hotels of its kind I have stayed at. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and cheerful which really made us feel comfortable for our stay. The room had excellent services, was spacious, had a mini fridge and such as usual. There is a pool and small gym room which we made use of. The hotel has regular buses going to Universal Orlando Resort in the mornings which made it very convenient for us to visit that theme park after breakfast. The breakfast selection was good and delicious. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Orlando on holiday.”

Elevator has capacity of 2, fitness center has a capacity of 4 ( great equipment options) breakfast still served but as cafeteria style and evening reception is still offered. “Based off my experience, it was perfectly fine. Easy check-in/check-out. Amazing water pressure in the shower. Fridge, microwave, A/C, TV, dresser. Seemed clean enough. I was in a smoking-king, and being a non-smoker, I could barely smell anything. You get what you pay for. Dilapidation comes with the territory. I have no complaints.”
