Brian and the community he has developed here are both amazing and the amount of practical wing chun and martial arts theory you learn here you won't get anywhere else. Everyone is willing to go at your pace to ensure you are learning as much as possible and I can't think of a better teacher within this martial art. Will definitely return one day once I am back in the area.

I'm an experienced Wing Chun practitioner in the same system as Brian, yet I routinely travel from NYC to Brian's School in order to supplement my knowledge and reinforce my skills within Wing Chun. While Brian is a young Master of the system, his knowledge and skill runs deep. Moreso he's developed his students into well skilled practitioners that are very capable training partners for helping you train and develop your own wing chun skills. Wing Chun Martial Arts Studio is a great school for all Wing Chun levels - whether if you've never done it before or have been training for years. Brian explains and demonstrates the fundamentals very well which extremely helpful for beginners.

If you're looking to get into martial arts or pickup a new hobby or just do something physical but still cerebral- you'd be hard pressed to find something better than this school.

The instructor Brian Kwong is exceptionally skilled and breaks down concepts and techniques masterfully. He's also a genuinely decent person and makes you feel welcome in the learning environment he fosters. He also does free introductory lessons so there's really no reason not to give it a try, you won't regret it.

I’ve trained in a handful of different martial arts over the years and can say that this school really is special. Brian is a great Sifu. He’s demonstrated that not only is he incredibly skilled in Wing Chun but that he is also an effective teacher, which is showcased in the skill of his students. The senior students are beasts for sure, but it’s also remarkable how fast newer students seem to progress. If you’re looking to pick up a Chinese martial art and be part of an incredibly strong and supportive community, I highly recommend this place.
