I felt like the ancestors did when the women of the village came together to ensure an unmedicated and safe delivery of the newest member of the tribe. Dr. Pemberton, Camille and the rest of the staff from the receptionists to the nurses to always made me feel like they were apart of my village down to the day he came into this world, where they supported me, held me, set up aromatherapy, wiped my face with a cold washcloth(which brought me back to life and gave me enough energy to make it through the next contractions) and they are a huge reason why I was able to for the first time have an unmedicated labor and delivery....I will forever be thankful for my Birth Center Tribe!!!”
