It took about three weeks to get the installation but it was also a busy time of year we had it in about two weeks before Christmas. Installation took about three hours and it was ready to go! “I found the prices a bit high, thus I took pix of the books I was interested in so that I might seek them elsewhere. Other reviews noted staff assisting customers with coupons, but my cashier didn't. She was polite & careful with my purchases, which were mainly good-priced markdowns when we first entered the store. I saw one female staff assisting a couple with their registry when we entered & as mentioned the polite (but not overly friendly or vociferous) woman checking is out... but saw no floor staff whatsoever! Although we very carefully made our way throughout the store, we were never approached by any staff to offer assistance, and despite lengthy research of nursery furniture displayed, no store reps were even really available! Needless to say, we ended up taking photos to research purchasing elsewhere, possibly online. There certainly were options -- but nobody to assist decision-making.”

“So I had a dilemma with my new appliance and tried to do an exchange the next day. Everyone pretty much gave me the middle finger and said I’m out of luck. After checking with the North Greenbush Home Depot location for “better customer service,” I tried the Washington Ave Ext site. I explained the situation to the manager and this time the customer to manager interaction was a complete 360 from the last location. He listened, acknowledged my concerns and came up with a solution. His name is Jeff, a customer experience manager and the way he was ready to solve this issue, he might as well have been my lawyer for the day. He knew my rights as a customer and was ready to get on the phone and speak with the manufacturer himself. THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! After a lengthy hold, we finally got the approval for my exchange. He made sure to get a name and also checked the computer for customer log updates on the manufacturer’s end. Not to be dramatic, but I was nearly in tears. It was a very long and stressful day, but to end it on that note was truly a victory. This is now my new Home Depot location that I will happily drive 20 mins to for all my purchases as a new homeowner. Thank you Jeff!”

Denim helped me with 3 or 4 different configurations, explained the warranty process, talked to me about the surround sound system and demoed that for me which was super cool. I got a personalized discount in the mail after visiting the store and not purchasing the first few times. I ended up moving forward and bought the sactional of my dreams with standard foam, storage and a few accessories. shipping takes 8-10 weeks ob custom orders which is a pain but it'll be worth it. Lynn was the one to check me out I got 15% off plus an additional 5 for a fire fighter discount. Two days layer they came out with a 25% discount and Lynn credited me the difference with no issue! I'm happy with my experience and excited for my couch to come in!”

“It's brand new (as of 10/29)! It's super clean, stocked, and fully staffed. It's your typical Home Goods so if you like Home Goods, you'll like this place. The reason I took off 1 star is because some of the aisles are incredibly narrow. You can't even fit two shopping carts through. This means if you were down an aisle and someone else turns down going the opposite direction, one of you has to back out and go down the next aisle to get to the other side of the aisle you were already in. Of course this causes an uncomfortable game of chicken, who is going to back down and move first? Im surprised that they didn't think of this when setting it up. It's something that can be fixed and hopefully they do so. Guess we'll see.”
