“Great Stop but come early. It does have limited space and there are others using the space for repairs but hey, it's their lot to use as they see fit. I stop here all the time when my schedule and timing allow. It does tend to get full by 5pm so plan ahead. Great access to Historic Albany. I walk into downtown all the time for exercise and a some good food. Have never been hassled here one bit and the staff is professional & courteous. My two cents, enjoy!”

“Visited this location on 6/12/2020 (during COVID19) everyone lines up outside and one by one you step inside surrounded by this plexi glass...the store associate asks you what you would like...rings it up...and you open up this little door to give her your cash or credit/debit card. I didn't think to take pictures but this is the current process while Coronavirus is going around. They have many varieties and also sell a light fruity drink called Stella Rosa! Ladies, you will like Stella Rosa! Go check it out! It cost $12.95 per bottle.”

“Despite visiting Albany many times in the last few years, this was the first time I had visited The Spinning Room - and I absolutely loved it!! I went about 45 mins before closing and didn't feel at all rushed or like I was being pushed out of the shop; the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and they had actually engaging conversation about what type of craft I do, yarns I use, what I make, etc. It is such a homey feeling shop and despite preparing for the upcoming Rhinebeck festival, they were fully stocked! Would recommend looking for amps around on the internet before, as they didn't have a huge selection of smaller, budget amps, and the small ones can easily be shipped. Also the coverage for the guitar even covers destroying the guitar, so that's a plus.”
