“Thoughtful shabu shabu tasting dinner! Also a very fun and one of a kind experience (especially for a shabu shabu lover). Everything was prepared carefully by the chef. Food was great, however a little bit pricey for the portions. But i believe the quality of the food was up there so i didn’t mind the price as much.”

“Que Chevere is such a great find within Essex Market (located downstairs in the Market Line) and all their food is truly made with LOVE FROM PUERTO RICO. They offer such delicious and authentic Puerto Rican food - I absolutely loved the shrimp mofongo, the shrimp was sooo good and cooked perfectly, it had a ton of flavor. You must try their amazing empanadas - I tried a beef one and it was great, also loved the salsas it came with.”

“I only get my jewelry Robin. Mans has everything, costume all the way to 21k vvs. All I’m gonna say is if you upset with your jewelry or jeweler you shoulda ran to Robin ?♀️ He got my wrist on froze and made my neck look like an ocean. Also I was reading other reviews. People really out here trying to cap with some 1 star reviews. I went in for a custom piece and Robin went above and beyond with customer service. I was having problems with the grills and without hesitation he remolded my teeth on the spot and remade them. If you want good jewelry and amazing customer service run to Robin.”

“I had the bianco verde rice balls and they were fantastic. Super crispy and delicious warm basil pesto inside. Surprisingly 4 of them were a filing enough lunch. The gentleman working the counter that day was very friendly. 4 delicious bites for $2 - not bad”

“located inside the Essex Market, Nordic Preserves Fish and Wildlife is serving up a variety of sandwiches as well as smoked and cured fishes. the space itself has a large glass display case of smoked salmon to sturgeon to some Nordic side items. everything is really clean and brightly lit. to the side there a small eating bar where you can eat items from the sandwich menu. had the “Lax Rulle” sandwich — Norwegian smoked salmon, Lingonberried Red Cabbage, & Horseradish crème on a baguette. while the sandwich make look small. it is stuffed with delicious slices of smoked salmon. the horseradish crème is pretty mild. the red cabbage is a has a mild sweet pickled taste. and the baguette is very thick and gives the sandwich a nice amount of carb-y texture. however, the bread is still pretty chewy and probably needs to be a tad thinner or toasted more. all in all, i was pleasantly surprised by how good the sandwich was and how filling it was. the fresh herbs and lemon slice are a nice touch. $10 + tax. the service here is friendly. the food isn’t rushed and the sandwiches are made from scratched. well worth a stop if you enjoy food that is off the beaten path of what’s “popular” eating in NYC drops mic cuz nothing fishy is going on here”

“Saw that this place was new on my maps so I decided to check it out for a quick appetizer before heading to dinner with friends. Wow what great service! For a huge space with other food vendors this pot pays attention to details and has some really fresh seafood. Our waiter really helped me with my order with his suggestions and I feel like their oysters are a steal deal. $2 east coast oysters taste way better then the $4 west coast oysters. PS $1 oysters during happy hour. Wish I could have ate from the dinner menu because they had some good fusion options. Thai, middle eastern, and east coast classics that’s what type of dishes you’ll see on there menu.”
