“I’ve been seeing Dr. D for almost 3 years now for a numerous condition that there is no cure for and he has been nothing but compassionate and understanding every single time I have an appointment or unable to make the appointment. Not once has he ever given me a problem then again I’m not someone who has a drug abuse background and I have never been a Dr. shopper. With the epidemic going on it HAS Made it Extremely hard for people like me to just get our prescriptions filled some pharmacies refused to fill them anymore because of the so-called guidelines they have been set by the DEA and CDC I stick with the same emergency room and I even let them call him so we’re on the same page. As long as you have a problem that is not going to be resolved in the next few weeks Dr. Dunklman will write you a letter of necessity as he’s done this for me twice and one pharmacy in particular not going to mention the name did not care that I had the letter and still refused me so now we go to the pharmacy who actually cares and understands. My new pharmacy is quite familiar with Dr. Dunklman. As far as his personality he’s a very busy man and he cares about every patient he’s not very talkative because he wants to stay on track and get you what you need or don’t need and keep the volume going he could come off as being not as compassionate but he truly is a very very good pain management doctor . If you are an acute pain patient and you’re pain is likely to dissipate in the next few weeks he may not take you on as a patient he generally takes on someone who is long-term and he does do regular drug testing. I have never been turned away by Dr. Dunklman especially when I am having an episode and need his help. To the comment about him always looking at his laptop he is looking up your DEA report to see when you’re last refill of any prescriptions and if anything he prescribes would make it so that you don’t get respiratory system failure. No he’s not just a Doctor Who prescribes medication he also does injections for pain and physical therapy so medication is only temporary for some people and others it may be a lifelong struggle and he understands that you have to have a good rapport with him and not cancel your appointments or be late and treat him with respect he Earned it. If you’re respectful to him he is very respectful to you. And if you’re honest with him he’ll be honest with you. I had one incident it was a long holiday weekend and the doctor had prescribed a different pain medication and I had called his office and the woman told me to fill the prescription and bringing in with me well it goes against the policy that I’ve signed with Dr. Dunklman and he said next time have them call me and I will take care of it so he’s a pretty easy going to doctor however that’s also because I had been with him for two years. If your new go by the guidelines to the T. Waiting for him is not long at all as long as you’re on time for your appointment anywhere from two minutes to 20 minutes unless there is a new patient had of you you might be waiting 45 minutes it’s a good idea to ask the receptionist what she thinks. And if you smoke please be kind and not smoke right in front of the doors were people who are handicapped have to walk through your cloud of smoke. It’s just respectful and if you’re in that much pain how are you standing outside in the cold anyway. I hope this helps you better understand Dr. Dunklman and how he operates and runs his practice he’s an extremely fantastic pain management doctor and truly does care about every single patient, good luck.”
