“This park is totally free, it is a good place for ADVENTURE and TAKE PHOTOES of blue sea, local fishermen and their super skill, subway (A) train and aeroplanes take off from JFK airport runway 31L. Sea wind makes people relax. HOWEVER I don't recommend here as a picnic place or amusement things. If you are going to this place without your car or bicycle, be ready for waiting for a Q11 bus bound for HAMILTON BEACH, or walk around 15 minutes from Howard Beach-JFK subway station. TIP for ride a Q11 bus FROM Howard Beach-JFK subway station: Check the bus on MYmta (MTA official app), if the bus is coming, then wait for it, ride it to the destination; If it is far away, then walk to the park, don't waste your time on wait for bus! “On 8/25/19 had my grandsons 3rd birthday party there. Family and friends went. This was incredible everyone had a great time. The food was good and our hostess Felicia was fantastic. She took care of all our party needs. I am recommending to all our friends if they want to celebrate their childs birthday Launch is the place to go. But must ask for Felicia to be their host.”
