“Great hotel especially if you have dogs. They normally take two border collie sized dogs but they let me bring in a third for the night and they only charge $10 per dog. The room was clean and everything worked. I was glad to see that there was no carpet just faux wood flooring. Carpet can get suspect and this was nice and clean and great for dogs. I was surprised how quiet it was. I thought being so close to everything it would be a noisy night but it was great. Can’t speak to the breakfast as I did t get down there in time. They also extended the move out time of 11a to 12 for which was great as there was some serious snow to deal with on my car. Great to know of a good place to send my dog people when they come to town. The room was $80 a fair price for what I received.”

“Place has been here for years and I have been stopping here for years. Had a couple beers and HogWings with fries for lunch today. Friend had chicken wings. Food was good, friend and I will be back another day”

“Easy access to the site. Able to drive right up. Bathrooms are pretty clean but not dividers between toilets. Water tastes a bit funny but doesn't make you sick. You can swim in the lake near by and lots of hiking trails nearby. It's not pricey and well worth it. Sites are spread out so your not on top of your neighbors.”

“We got there on a Friday night, as they were shutting down the kitchen. The staff got us taken care of, it took a few extra minutes, but well worth the wait! The fish fry was delicious and very generous portions. Our waitress was great! Will definitely go back again, just a little earlier!!”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at Grey Gables, a charming AirBnB located in a historic neighborhood. The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the hosts clearly take great pride in their property. The porch and surroundings offered a private and peaceful retreat, making it the perfect spot for relaxation. The antique furnishings and decor added to the historic charm of the home. All in all, my stay at Grey Gables was a true delight and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.”

“Quiet shelter open to all who seek to sleep the night, or be to simply stop for lunch. It's on a very popular trail and must be shared if asked.”

“Absolutely no problems from check in to check out. Clean rooms, clean beds, clean bathroom and shower. I felt very safe and quite comfortable there. The staff was nice and they had extra blankets and towels ready if you needed them. There is a great little market right next door where you can grab anything you you'd like to eat or drink. Search Hudson Food Market for info. Located close to the subway entrances, this was a perfect place to stay and then catch the train wherever you need to go. The subway does cause an audible din so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. It did not bother me in the least. Planet Fitness is super close if you need a workout. Overall, I do recommend this hostel. From teens to retirees, everyone is welcome.”

“I give it 4 stars due to location and cleanliness. For a motel they are very nice and front desk is always helpful and informative. They don't rush you when your stay is up they give you a good interval between calls to see if you would like a longer stay or need assistance from them. If anything extra is needed in the room they provide no problem and fast. Parking lot is extremely small so watch your side view mirrors and doors when parking and go very slowly”

“It was an extraordinary experience at Whiteface Lodge! The clubhouse room we stayed in was very clean, warm, and decorative, and every corner of the lodge was very pleasing. We really liked the warm outdoor swimming pool and hot tub! Amazing winter experience! Love breakfast. The atmosphere for the breakfast area was very charming and refreshing! Every moment of staying at the lodge was awesome!”

“Great place to stay in rural upstate NY. Sue and Don were great hosts and very accommodating. The room was quaint, had everything we needed, and the view was wonderful. Our daughter really enjoyed playing with the dogs and in the fields / garden. Breakfast was amazing everyday and we would love the recipes to the corn fritters and corned beef hash please. We would like to come back next time we visit nearby Lake Cossayuna.”

“We stayed here last night. The room was comfortable. It was also kind of small. The parking was adequate but they wanted you to park in back which meant you had to lug your luggage upstairs. The person checking to see if it was not the friendliest. But overall this hotel has a nice hotel I will definitely stay out again”

“Great accommodations for the price. Our room was clean and well maintained. The owners were pleasant and helpful. When checking in, my friend and I reserved a spot on the shuttle to and from the concert we attended at Darien Lake ($50 round trip for 2 people) it was well worth the money! We will definitely be staying again when we attend another concert.”
Address: 10 Cleveland Ave, Lily Dale, NY 14752, USA
“I travel to Lily Dale frequently and Harmony House is always my first choice for lodging. The rooms are clean, comfortable and air conditioned. There is a breakfast bar downstairs that is stocked with coffees and teas, and that also has a shared refrigerator and microwave. The two bathrooms are shared, but seem to be sufficient even when the house is fully booked. I've never been annoyed by noisy or inconsiderate fellow guests - hosts Tom and Ellie just seem to attract a nice group of people. Bonus: you can sit on the screened front porch and watch dozens of hummingbirds flit around Ellie's gorgeous garden while you eat your breakfast!”

Address: 8 Thurlow Terrace, Albany, NY 12203, USA
“We stayed here on Thanksgiving night 2022. The hotel is beautiful, with well appointed accommodations. There is a continental breakfast available with healthful selections. The manager/staff are available by text or phone call. The door locks use a keypad code system for entry. My only suggestion would be for the management to alert customers in advance that the individual room doors don't lock automatically when they close behind you when you leave. You need to lock them with the key given. The doors to the outside do lock automatically behind you when you leave. This could be printed on the information card that is in the rooms. All in all, it is a beautiful boutique hotel!”

“We fished with Pirates Charters, Captains Trevor & Al put us on lots of fish! Overnight accommodations were some of the best on the Great Lakes. We had a short walk from our cottages to the boats, with the restuarant on the way. An awesome breakfast served by the kind of people that you like to wake up to.”
