“One of the best places to walk in the whole city. If you stand in the middle of the compass by the sign and talk it sounds like your talking facing a wall despite there being no walls near you. Highly recommend the walk!”

“In short you can say- it is a magical place where you get to see the magic of nature. I think mid of may really great time to visit. If you want to avoid crowd then this is the time for you. Also the weather is like not too cold and not too hot, just right. But at night you have to carry a warm clothe.”

“Hunter's Creek County Park is a very nice park. There is a nice creek in a canyon there and options for hiking. The creek mostly has crawfish and minnows in it at this time. The hills in the park and the dirt ground, which can become quite muddy makes this park good for intermediate hikers. If this is your first hike, I would recommend starting at an easier place and working up to Hunter's Creek. If you do go to Hunter's Creek, which I hope you do, be prepared for a beautiful and challenging nature walk.”

“Beautiful and amazing! I took the birding option, it was awesome! The lady was really nice and informative. We were automatically given binoculars. The lady said that it was a birding rest stop during migration so it was great to see more birds. The birding option is so relaxing and makes you appreciate nature. Perfect nature getaway, never miss it!”

“What a beautiful oasis in the Bronx of New York. Yes you have to pay but it is worth every dollar. You can also just buy membership instead, as you'll more than likely want to return if you live here. Safety restrictions are in place at the moment to limit numbers and enable social distancing. Although once you are in there is no limit on how long you spend in there. If you want to see the spring blossoms I'd book very soon. Many of the blossoms are already well in bloom and look stunning but there are still more to come. The daffodils seem to be all out but not the tulips yet. The Kasuma exhibits are a joy to see in all their colour. The restaurants are open for food. You may have a queue a little at busy times. We didn't eat but the pizzas we saw looked very good. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Our two young daughters also loved running about and doing the quit hunt along the way.”

“I grew up playing in this park, it's come a long ways. It's very beautiful in the fall and winter times. You can jog... if you don't mind stairs. Perfect for kids. Basketball court, hand ball court and a big beautiful picnic meadow. It's gets pretty dark in the park at night so keep that in mind for my none native Harlemits! ♥️💯”

“Great place to walk your dog on a nice day or with friends out for a jog... This park even has various exercise equipment machines placed along a main trail if just walking or jogging isn't enough of a workout to get your body going. The scenery is beautiful, and the nature all around you is revitalizing and transcending! After such a long winter it's good to finally get out!!”
