“Unless your looking for this park you most likely never notice it. Could easily drive right by it. It has a Pretty amazing playground with lots of activities plus a tile full basketball court fenced in that is cool.”

“We come here for soccer, the field is nice. Wish the playground was a little better (no slide, no swings.. not good for younger children at all)”

“Beautiful beach, although you might want to avoid the picnic area in the evening: we were devoured by tiny white bugs 6-7p. Everyone had 10-20 bites on their arms and legs. They looked like afids but were obviously not.”

“Terrific dog park: friendly, active inclusive people & pups. Some dogs need to be reigned in because of aggressive behaviors, but mostly playful.”

“Really nice loop to do in late fall when the leaves are down. You get awesome views of the Hudson and the trail is not terribly steep like some of the other in the area. So if you are new to hiking or are going with kids and/or pets this is a great hike to go on. The loop will bring you up to the top of Sugarloaf and then on the way down you can pass by a still running castle. While it is off limits and no trespassing is allowed you can get pretty close using some of the woods roads.”

“A simple great state Park. A place to play, some nice hiking trails, a place to just sit and relax under the sun.”

“This place is beautiful to visit even in winters. The place was quite cold when we went in December, but bearable. I would suggest taking a thick coat and gloves. It has all the amenities nearby the trekking mountain - there is a snack bar where you get bars, ice cream etc. There is a restaurant where you can eat good food. There is even an ice skating rank which is I feel is the highlight of the area. You can pay just $10 and skate there for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I would say pretty good deal. The trail itself takes about 2 hours. Had a wonderful time!”

“I play volleyball in the gym Thursday and Sunday nights. Floors are old-school, narrow plank sprung wood. Very easy on my joints.”
