Special s/o to Ashley who stayed past her shift to clean a bathroom stall because there was a long line for the bathroom. And she did it with a smile and good cheer. All in all we had a great time. Oh and best of all it's dog friendly with a dog park so the furbabies can play too . Great park😊”

Domino Park

Address: 15 River St, Brooklyn, NY 11249, USA

Park

“I recently visited Domino Park after a long time, and it was relaxing to sit back and watch the ferries pass by on a beautiful sunny day. The park was quite crowded due to the perfect weather. While dogs are not allowed on the lawn, which may be disappointing for some pet owners, the park does feature some unique playground equipment that sets it apart from others in the area for families with kids. However, there are some areas where the park could be improved. For example, there is no restroom specifically designated for the playground area, which would be more practical. Additionally, the park could benefit from additional shaded areas and seating options. A reliable internet connection would also be beneficial, as many visitors use their devices in the park. Finally, the installation of portable toilets would offer a convenient and easily accessible option for all park-goers. Overall, Domino Park is still a must-visit. However, with a few improvements, it could be even better.”

Caroga Lake State Campground

Address: 3043 NY-29A, Gloversville, NY 12078, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“We spent 3 nights at Caroga Lake. They have a great staff who really care about the well kept campground. One shower house; very clean. All toilet houses are very clean. Sites are of varying sizes, but mostly small (a tent or two and an EZ-Up over the table. Fire pits are cleaned out after each reservation leaves. the surface is gravel. The beach is small. Drawbacks: Water spigots are hard to find in the woods. Only one shower house, so if you're far away from it, it's an uphill hike. The general store across from camp is really a sandwich/pizza shop. The wood we bought there was wet and wouldn't burn properly (not a ding against the campground, but just sayin'). There is zero cell service at this campground. Whether that's a plus or minus is up to you.”

Photos and videos just don’t do justice! There are caves and waterfalls but maybe next time the waterfalls won’t be dried up. It’s very peaceful and all you can hear are the birds chirping. You may also come across some woodchucks like I did! Definitely come here and go explore and see the beautiful views!!”

Magic Forest Farm

Address: 134 Bucks Ranch Rd, Coeymans Hollow, NY 12046, USA

Campground Park Lodging Store

“I volunteered at magic forest farm for a summer and have come back periodically to visit in all four seasons- it’s a beautiful place, and Joan and jay are awesome hosts/farmers, who have always focused on how they can sustainably build their farm and community. The farm has so much to offer- private camping grounds and alternative dwellings, friendly farm animals, miles of private trails and if you’re lucky enough to catch Joan or jay in between them working on one of their many projects they have a wealth of knowledge on organic and sustainable farming, mushroom foraging, eco friendly/alternative construction and much more. The magic forest farm is great and I would recommend a visit to anyone!”

Rock Oak Estates

Address: 9925 Whitwick Terrace, Clarence, NY 14031, USA

Rv park Lodging Park

“I've lived here for 2 years now. It's definitely not solely 55 and up. There are children on my block. However, for the most part, it's quiet. I do hear Lancaster speedway loud and clear. I also hear all the football scores from the high school games. I'm more towards the farthest street away from the school. There are a few new mobile homes on my street from 2020 when I moved in. A new home went in last week on my street, it's still progress. Today is 7-26-22.”
