Address: 288-404 Mine Rd, Highland Falls, NY 10928, USA
“From the Parking area on Mine Road this is a great short 2 mile hike that can be done as a loop. When leaving the parking area hike up the steep section and stay to the left. This will lead you to a more challenging section that has a rock scramble to the top. This route provides some of the best views when getting to the summit. Once on top there is a monument to the fallen Hero's. Please be respectful when at the monument. After taking in some of the best views proceed on and take the rock stairs down. There is one section on the way back that i a rock slab and there is a thick heavy rope to help those that are a little skidish down. This slab can be slippery after a rain and in winter can be icy but is the best route to take when leaving the summit.”

“Very long trails great for walking or riding bikes. A lot of birds, ducks, swans. Also quite a few folks here walking dogs. Lots of parking and a variety of places you can join in and access the trails from the road. There is a parking lot or street side parking. No fees. No bathrooms that I saw or cane across. Some picnicking happening, but not much. This is more for biking and nature walks.”

“Dog park is a wide open space my dog loves running about the hillside. Perfect use of space. Two sides, unfortunately some small dog owners allow dogs in large dog side & they proceed to badger, bark, bite bigger dogs w/o removal. Wish they'd be smarter and kinder about this. But when no one else is there, it's fantastic!”

And I've played 607 worldwide !!!! AND I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF THE EXPERIENCE. THE COURSE CONDITIONS COULD'VE HELD A MAJOR THAT DAY. THAT'S HOW NICE THE COURSE PLAYED. “Mid quality stuff to climb on, but an extra star because its rarely busy and most importantly, might be the only park around that has excellent shade. On a hot sunny day this is your only choice.”
