“Gorgeous North Shore beach with picturesque views of the bay and surrounding areas. The drive here is quite scenic and direct. This beach is perfect for nice walks and fishing. The boulders lining the middle make for some pretty cool photos too. The beach is very rocky but that is just a unique characteristic of all North Shore beaches. Hobart beach is a great spot to spend a sunny summer afternoon. By far one of the most beautiful beaches on the island!”

Doodletown trailhead

Address: Dunderberg Turnpike, Tomkins Cove, NY 10986, USA

“Great trail to hike in the fall weather - no bugs and fresh cool air. However rocks were pretty slippery because of the previous night rain. Would definitely be very challenging and in some parts dangerous during Winter. Beautiful view of water fall and sound of streams running all along the trail. Nice spots for picnic. Though my 6-yr old made the entire Bridle path loop hike, it’s pretty rough (uphill and rocky) for younger kids.”
