“My boyfriend and I lived here for about a year before buying a house. We had some problems with office staff when we first moved in but those were resolved after the first month. The maintenance guy Andrew Bostle is really cool and always fixed things quickly. Compared to other apartments we have lived in, I don't think we've had a maintenance guy come so quickly and be so nice. The pool is also really nice during the summer and the landscape is really pretty and well taken care of.”

“Amante's is the hidden gem of the local triangle pizza scene. Unassuming diner atmosphere, clean and well run. Economical too, high end pizza, barely above chain restaurant prices. The real draw is their peerless specialty pizza menu. The online menu has thirty distinct, creative pies to try. The hand printed menu is a novel about delicious food. Not to mention the authentic Italian entrees, wings, subs and wraps. All told, you could eat a different pie or entree every week for approximately a year without repeating a meal. Listen, I'm a picky pizza eater in my older age. I've tried a lot of pies all around North Carolina. Amante's is one of the best after only one tasting. The pizza features crisp vegetables hand cut from fresh produce, light on the fatty mess like butter and oil, heavy on the toppings - good clean pizza that feels like you ate a regular meal tomorrow morning.”

“Friends of mine who run always had good things to say about Fleet Feet. I've started walking a couple of miles a day to get my dog (and me) some exercise and needed some good walking shoes. I didn't know if Fleet Feet sold those, but stopped by the Durham store anyway and asked. I was impressed by the thorough and professional treatment that I received. Randy, the salesperson who helped me, scanned my feet, went over the results with me, and chose a few pair of shoes for me to try. I was impressed by the foot scanning technology. It seemed like the kind of thing someone might expect if they were buying a pair of high-end running shoes, but I wasn't expecting this kind of analysis when I was just buying walking shoes. I appreciated Randy's helpfulness and professionalism even more than the cool technology. He asked questions and listened—really listened—to my answers. He listened to the comments I made about each pair of shoes that I tried and how they fit. He clearly seemed interested in finding the solution that was best for me and was willing to take the time to do it right. I'm very happy with the shoes and insoles that I bought. The cost ended up being about what I expected and what I was ready to pay for good quality shoes. The most valuable part of the experience is knowing that I found the right shoes for my needs, not just a high quality or well known brand. The technology that you use was great, but Randy's help was the most important part of the experience.”

To my disappointment, they had no units available. But the customer service was beyond amazing. Linda is a GEM. She provided me with any information I needed and even assisted me with finding units that could possibly be available at other ample storage centers. She followed up with me and even provided me with contact information. Even though I didn’t get the unit I was looking for, I appreciate Linda for going above and beyond for me! “The 2 beds room was really small. Nice and clean but not much room to get around. The bathroom was large. About as big as the room. We had to get our door cards redone often and that was a pain being on the 7th floor going up and down on the slow elevator. The hotel was booked solid and we were there for a large wedding so it was a bit of in convenience with these small details and pouring down rain all day and night.”

Everyone in the shop is a true artisan and the the pride taken in each person’s craft really shows. We were thoroughly impressed by the finished product and pleased with the attention to detail—a handful of welcomed repairs were intuitively made that we had no expectation of being included. Ben, the shop foreman, was communicative and responsive throughout the process which admittedly took longer than expected, but the quality and thoroughness of the job proved to be well worth the wait in the end.
