“As soon as we arrived a very nice man was working the check in counter and he was very very helpful and very nice. I wish I would have gotten his name. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are really soft. The breakfast is AMAZING. They have everything from an egg white omelette to chobani yogurt. Very very nice. I love it and every time I come to Gastonia I am staying here! Thank you ????????”

“This is the 3rd hotel I've stayed in recently (week or more at a time), and I want to start off by saying that it is the cheapest of the 3 when paying for a week at a time (do not have personal experience with other options). With that being said, it has been by far the best of the 3 as well. Spacious room with mini fridge and microwave. Even has a couch beside the large bed given. Both of which, face a decent size TV with an even better selection of channels. Check in was a breeze. I called and reserved the room that morning and then went after work to check in that day. Was in and out with a room key less than 10 minutes. Thw staff have answered every question I've had and even provide a small breakfast from 6am to 9am. I will definitely be coming back here.”

“I only put 5 stars so people would see this. My mother has been working 7 days a week at this hotel for the past 3 years with no paychecks, and no days off! According to them, her payment is her room. Also, they like to leave her there by herself cleaning rooms while they go do whatever, sometimes days at a time. NO ONE EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!”

“We arrived in the middle of the night. The room was clean and decently priced. My only complaint is there were cockroaches in the air vent of the bathroom. Being the South East however I understand how difficult it is to battle those little beasts. I wrapped everything in garbage bags just to make sure I took none with me. Bathroom and room were nice for the price. Thank you”

“Going from NY it wasn't much of a surprise to see the lights and decorated houses but it was a fun time to be with family. Be prepared to be waiting in traffic to enter this town for at least 1 hour and half, cars move really slow and stop frequently to take pictures. The ideal would be to walk through the streets of the town but I don't really know how easy would it be to find parking close to the attractions.”

“Closest hotel for guests to stay who are visiting this area. It is the preferred accommodation for anyone visiting Belmont Abbey College. The complaints regarding the bathrooms are due to the fact this hotel is several years old. It's relatively small but provides the same services that Hampton Inns of a larger size provide. The room selection is a bit limited. Oftentimes, the rates are high. There is not a view of anything. There is a Walmart nearby. A gas station is across the street. No sidewalks or infrastructure to support a stroll or biking. Be careful when entering and exiting the hotel driveway. Traffic is very heavy and often too fast for the area. This hotel has a nice little pool outside. Just be sure to ask staff when the best times are to use the pool. Lots of trees and the building actually shades the pool.”

“Out of the last dozen or so hotels I've stayed at this was hands down the best. The majority of the rooms I stay in have obvious signs of repair to the rooms like rushed patch work to the walls or furniture chipping but I did not see any of that in the room I stayed in. The biggest thing I look for when renting a room is the bathroom and my stay this time didn't disappoint. The water pressure and heat were both consistent for my 30 minute shower and the towels didn't leave my skin dry like most do. The staff was friendly and even tho I had slept in and missed breakfast by a few mins they were more than happy to assist me in getting a plate to eat. If I'm ever passing by the area again I'll look forward to stopping by this hotel again.”
