“Loved, Loved Loved it!! Brought back childhood memories. Campground an facilities are immaculate ! Everyone is super pleasant in office. So many activities.... laser tag, huge playground pool looks well kept (closed for winter, ), ping pong, huge jumping thing. Close to the zoo. They have propane on site to refill tanks, large sites, golf cart trails, adding a water park area. Owner is amazing! Shower facilities were wonderful. Just need more laundry facilities and a dog park, but sure those will come with time. Stayed here 9 days and loved it. Coming back in June!! Can't wait!”

“We loved our stay here! The master suite has the largest jacuzzi tub I’ve ever seen, and Ron was extremely helpful and a great cook. The breakfasts were wonderful & our dietary needs were all accommodated. It feels rural with beautiful landscaping & birdsong, but it’s close enough to town that DoorDash will still deliver. There were nice extras like robes and chocolate in your room. It was the perfect place for our small wedding group to stay. Thanks!”

“This place was great! As soon as we arrived we were immediately greeted by April (in the pouring rain!) she was friendly and it’s evident she takes pride in her job. The layout was easy, the sites were spacious and landscape was beautiful. We stopped here in transit for one night but if we had known how nice it was we would’ve changed our itinerary to stay for several days.”

“We had a great day yesterday tubing down the Tar River with Tar River Life. Booking online was easy and Carla was so kind and helpful. Beautiful, fun, and relaxing fun for the whole family. This place is simple, not fancy but the tubes were awesome as well as the views along the way. We can't wait to return! Highly recommend you wear water shoes or shoes that can get wet.”

“We came down to the Whistling Clam in January and saw this seal on the beach - house is right in front of the beach access and has plenty of deck space on all levels and a pool/hot tub to enjoy the outdoors. The inside has 7 bedrooms & a large open floorplan with lots of room inside to enjoy!”

“Chris and Jacque were amazing to work with. We knew we had to hire them for our wedding after we went to one of their tastings. The food is out of this world, especially the mac and cheese!! As a bride, I wanted my wedding to be perfect, and absolute perfection is what I got when it came to the catering at my wedding reception. They were always quick to answer my many questions over the entire year we were working with them. (Shoutout to Jacque!!!) They also made postponing my wedding during Coronavirus a lot easier! Jacque and the team were amazing on the day of and left us with extra food that we ate every day the week after the wedding. Thank you for making our wedding the best day ever!!!”

“Views of Moore's Knob are second to none. It's convenient to Hanging Rock State Park. Staying in one of their cozy cabins is "glamping" at it's best. The host and hostess are friendly and helpful. There's a general store between the cabins and the park. There's no light pollution or traffic noise. We had a six-point buck wander past our cabin. Just beautiful.”

“This was our second stay at Tucker Lake and it was just as good as the first time. We were escorted to our site which was plenty big for our 45' MH and truck. It's a no frills park, but we're self contained and generally don't use amenities. It's a nice location next to the lake. They have built more sites in the back of the park which they were working on last year and have now finished. They do regular maintenance and upkeep to the property and show pride in ownership. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Thought I'd already posted a review, but I'll say again, Patrick and the people at Abbingley are excellent. I needed to get a place two years ago near the Hospital where I'd gotten a job. I met with Patrick on-site at the Park and he was so friendly and personable. We got things taken care of quickly and I am very happy with the trailer. Abbingley has been with me through getting a new place setup, working through the pandemic, and everything else these last two years. The Park is peaceful and the neighbors are friendly. I hope to be here for the long term. My little dog Arya loves it!”

“Good experience. Room was clean. Practically entire hotel had a smell. There seem to be no fresh air circulating. Lady at front desk with no name tag was not to customer friendly. Went out and returned and a man was also at front desk. He was very customer friendly. He greeted us and ask about the room and if we were enjoying our stay.”
