“The other day I had an accident with my glasses and they were unusable. My prescription has changed over the past 3 years and my backup pair was not effective reading anything closeup. A critical part of my job is reading small text on drawings so I was in dire need of a replacement pair. Been going to Wake Ophthalmology for years and went to Optical Shop to order a pair, figuring I will just have to get by for two weeks while they are made and shipped. I met with Evie in the Optical Shop and told her my story. She looked at my glasses and said she could fix them right now, I was surprised because my frames have a very fine wire that holds the lenses in place that would normally have to be done in a factory. Sure enough, she got out her tools and the special plastic see-through wire and went to work. The procedure was very complicated requiring much dexterity and know-how. After 5 minutes or so my glasses were as good as new. I am very grateful for the outstanding service provided to me by Evie of the Optical Shop. I definitely recommend the Wake Ophthalmology Optical Shop; their staff is very friendly, well trained, and always helpful”

“Took my 1 year old Doberman to Hollywood Feed yesterday for the first time. Looking for a “tough, hard-to-chew-bed”. The service was fantastic as well as the selection. I got advice on pinch collars, treats, beds, and just a great experience for me and my dog. My dog was able to socialize with other dogs. Hollywood Feed also carries the food my dog eats, Fromm! Thank you to the two women who helped me yesterday and again today! This is now my go-to pet supply store!!!”

They did offer financing but before running my credit, they asked me a variety of different questions and directed me to a local credit union. I got approved with nothing down. I was allowed to take the vehicle for a prepurchase inspection at a dealership. Upon return their were a couple mechanical concerns which were quickly addressed and had me on the road by the next day. Great dealership! “Outstanding service. I'll never use another moving company again. These guys exceeded my expectations. The movers wrapped all of our furniture with blankets. They also shrink wrapped our mattresses and put bubble wrap and cardboard on our television for extra protection. Everything was stacked tight into the moving truck with plenty of room in it. I was worried things wouldn't fit, but it all fit perfectly. Unloading was really easy for them as they unloaded everything from the truck into my home in just under two hours. The move went better than I expected and I'm very glad I found these guys. I will call them again when I move without a single doubt.”

Watch out, though, for an older gentleman who works in plumbing (very condescending, if "helping" you) and a couple of the guys in electrical (not the most knowledgeable electrical wizards you will come across). Cashiers are friendly and helpful, as are all the folks I've met in lawn & garden. When you get to the Tools section, good luck finding any assistance. The employees here will tell you that the Wake Forest HD on Route 1 has a better plant selection.”
