“Jaime, Morgan and Lisa cut my hair recently and they did an excellent job. Right now, these 3 are my favorites to cut my hair. Months prior, Called Moyock location, asked if Mary was working today, a nice lady said that Mary was in Elizabeth City, so I called Elizabeth City and they confirmed that Mary was working today. Arrived, checked in via their website and waited 30 minutes at least for Mary to cut my hair. As always, she did an excellent job on my hair, she told me why Jeanie was no longer working there and then she broke some sad news to me that Friday, September 22, will be here last day working for Great Clips and she will be working on a (horse) farm. Asked her for recommendations and she gave me recommendations. Wished and tipped her well. My review two weeks prior, I tried to get a haircut today but they did NOT open at 9am, myself and 2 others waited for a bit. I left and returned and found out that Jeanie no longer works here and a other stylist came into help. Website and app checkin were not working as well. Previously, my review was: Truly a God sent! Location is perfect! Nataly, Jeanie, Mary, Belan and Amanda have all cut my hair; they all are personable and professional; Nataly moved to another location as well as Mary. February 2023, Mary gave me haircut, told me what Jeanie did last, we discussed what I wanted, she initiated a very good conversation, I got lost in the conversation and then we were done. Mary did an excellent job with my haircut! They take notes of what cut(s) you get, they put it in their system and refer to it when you come again and or the next time. They have a website available to checkin early or get in line. When you come in the door, the waiting area is there, then the front desk and then the barber chairs and stations (or petitions). At the front desk, there is a large computer monitor that let's you see who is in line and who is up next for a haircut. The first time I went in, I had to wait. Second time, I walked right in and Nataly greeted me at the front desk, asked my phone number, she checked me in, gave me an excellent haircut, asked me what I wanted, showed me what I was getting, kept asking me, is that how I want it, she listened to me talk about my hair and gave me recommendations on what she does to grow her hair etc. Nice conversation. Jeanie was just as good and gave me an excellent first impression of what the barbers at Great Clips can do for me and my hair. Beautiful shop with plenty of chairs in a beautiful building. Haircut for me was $20. Google Pay and or Apple Pay works well for contactless payment. Oh, after I got my first haircut, they gave me a $3 gift card coupon that I can use when I return in the future for another haircut. Highly recommend this high tech barber shop.”

“I love this shop Jarrett and his crew are very nice and gets the job done. I was told by someone else that my daughter car more than likely need head gasket and would cost $2200 to fix. I called Jarrett he told me to bring the car and he said they misdiagnosed it. He put it on the machine and it was just a coil. He replaced it and not even 30 mins later and a heck cheaper the car is fixed. He is very reasonable and the shop to go to. I highly recommend him.”

They have a really nice stage, fresh roasted coffee from "Corner High Coffee", the food was good, and the worship music was great! “I recently visited Holly Ridge Golf Course in Archdale, NC, to get some practice at the driving range. While my skills were a bit rusty, I was determined to start playing again. Unfortunately, my return to the course took an unexpected turn. As I was leaving, I tripped and fell, striking my head on the brick steps leading to the clubhouse. I was grateful for the immediate assistance I received from Alyssa Wise, a staff member at Holly Ridge. Alyssa dropped everything and quickly assessed the situation, provided first aid, and stayed with me until I could get to the emergency room. Her compassionate care and attention to detail were invaluable during a stressful time. Thanks to Alyssa's help, I was able to receive prompt medical attention. I highly recommend Holly Ridge Golf Course for their friendly staff and commitment to customer well-being.”

“Just walked in, not knowing what to expect. Precious little boutique, the owner was there with her little girl, and she is the sweetest! I was there with my 12, almost 13, year old daughter and little boy. Clothing is super cute but sized for older teens and ladies. My daughter loved everything in the store but was still too young to fit into any of it. We mentioned how much my daughter loves black and Wednesday Addams, and the owner recommended a hat that my daughter fell in love with. So impressed with the owner’s attentiveness and how gorgeous this boutique is. Definitely visit this local small business!”
