“My kids really like coming to Roses as they have a large selection of affordable toys. I like that they have REALLY GOOD deals on small kitchen appliances like toasters, blenders and microwaves. They’ve got a ton of clothes, shoes, furniture, car supplies, home repair kits and pretty much everything you can get at Target, but for a lot less. They even have seasonal stuff like Valentine’s Day cards and gifts and of course Christmas accessories like fake trees and stockings. Overall, I give Roses 4 stars because the place looks a little run down (on the inside) and the bathrooms could use a makeover. Other than that, I think this is the best discount store in the area.”

BUT I would rather shop here than go to a place where I get followed around like they are waiting for you to steal something. The staff is always super friendly. “I’m in town visiting family and my dog suddenly started crying out in pain. My aunt’s usual vet couldn’t squeeze us so we started calling around. King’s Crossing graciously said we could come in immediately. No more than 30 minutes after making that call, my dog was in the back getting x-rays and blood work. Dr. Fuller was knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I appreciated that she openly discussed the varying schools of thought of a couple of treatment options. She explained why she was choosing the medications she would be prescribing and how they would help my little guy. She also made some great suggestions for possible treatments in the future. Everyone was so kind today- the team at the front desk, the vet techs, Dr. Fuller. The cherry on top was that the visit was a fraction of the price that I would have paid at home. Not sure how their prices compare to other local vets, but, to me, it was a steal. I would bring any of my animals back here in a heartbeat!”

I Love the atmosphere and so does my boyfriend but it's a 45 min drive for us from Durham and since church starts at 10:00a.m. we be pushing. Also there is too much standing throughout the service, some of that could be combined. I'm not elderly but I do have health issues so sometimes I don't stand like some elderly don't. But overall everyone is kind, friendly & caring.”

Head north on the greenway to access the Mingo Creek trail which heads East to Knightdale or stay on the greenway and stroll the 17 miles to the dam! Heading south the greenway trail runs along Anderson Point Dr crossing the highway on the bridge leading into Anderson Point Park.”

“This is one of the best state parks we’ve stayed at in North Carolina. Very private with large sites and nice, clean bathrooms with hot showers. The family campground is not at the visitor center. We checked in at visitor center and they gave us directions to campground. They also have firewood for sale at the visitor center so if you want wood buy it while you’re there. We will be back to this campground.”
