“It doesn't really exist quite yet, but the trails along the west side of the river are good hiking. They are rough and offer a nice change of pace from the well groomed trails already available in the other area parks. I hope when they complete the park, they keep those rough trails just the way they are. There are plenty of places to take a nature walk in Columbus. But this is one of the few places you can get a taste of a good hike with some technical challenges.”

“This park has plenty to offer. From walking/running on a shaded trail, basketball, tennis, baseball, and soccer pick your activity. The small kids have a cool playground to climb and swing plus other cool equipment they can play some unique games. They have a huge shelter house you can rent for events with a pond that you could fish from. The restrooms are clean and a water fountain that offers filtered water. Overall, a very nice park to spend with family and friends.”

“Short but very beautiful hike in the woods. The south part, the state nature preserve, is much better- old growth forest and amazing spring wildflowers. Put all the trails together and it's a little under 2 miles. Worth a visit in the Columbus area.”

“This is a beautiful trail with great views and a flat, paved pathway. It is by no means a true hike, but it makes for a lovely nature walk and I imagine a superb biking/running trail as well. There is quite a bit of direct sunlight, and it is quiet despite being relatively popular for the area! The dog park is large and also seems quite nice, although my experience was from a distance and, perhaps more importantly, without a dog of my own.”

“This place is awesome, and it's right in town. There is a decent amount of parking available. They have 2 shelters and tables to use for picnics. There are 2 viewing decks and both are wheelchair accessible, as the path to those is flat. Nice place to spend some time listening and viewing the falls. And Hayden Run Falls is just a short drive from these.”
