Let me explain: I needed straw bales for my garden but after calling a couple 'big box' home improvement centers with no luck, someone on my neighborhood Facebook page suggested Linnton Feed and Seed. Will answered my call and described their size and price and then I laughingly asked 'Gosh, I wish you guys delivered.' And he said 'How about now?' Within an hour, I had two straw bales delivered AND placed exactly where I wanted them by the driver named Darcy - who was just as friendly and efficient as Will was. They were professional, clean, and friendly with all the dogs we have. No complaints here. They kept the work area tidy and put drop clothes down during their work day to keep the floors clean. “Each week my piano lessons with Norm are fun. He’s a great teacher. As an adult beginner, I've been doing lessons 2 years and my progress is good. I'm learning to read music faster than I expected. Each week we work on new songs as well as review my favorites. Norm is so knowledgeable about all aspects of music. He really enjoys teaching. I’m always relaxed at the lessons, and we progress at a comfortable rate. There’s always something new to learn, new songs in different styles, blues improvisation, playing by ear. I really enjoy it all.”

“Wow! Surprised I had not found this store prior to this weekend. A little bit of everything, even though it's labeled as a stationary store. Very reminiscent of several stores I used to visit in San Francisco that carried lots of import stationary writing drawing and other implements to further one's creative and artistic expressions. Imports from Japan and many other unique items from around the world. I found kits from Great Britain, papers from around the world, not to mention a fantastic supply of pens, pencil's, Marcus call, book binding materials, water marbling, paints, printing, felt work, and so so much more. It's rather impressive what they manage to fit under one roof and using all available space. Be warned upon entry you may feel overwhelmed however it does have a nice natural flow once you observe the paths of travel.”

“Dora! Dora! She is so kind and nice. We went into their looking to fill out a small room. Dora was quick and knowledgeable on top of extremely pleasant. We asked how the owners treated them, because we like to vote with our dollars, and she stated they were treated very well. We will be back with future needs. PS, they can edge remnants that you love into floor matts for about $3 per foot. Wishing I had some PDX airport carpet right now :)”

“I come here almost daily. Everyone I've encountered here has been super friendly. They remodeled the store, it is so nice!!! They have a huge selection of food, drinks and eight... 8! Different flavors of that ice drink Frazel? I'm spelling it wrong I'm sure but it is always clean in here and I love it. They have restrooms for customers only during the day but shut them off at night because of how Portland is. The gas is always good, is my one stop shop for alL my needs. Love this place! They have propane refill, air/water pump and a vac to clean it your car. Overall, def a 5 star”
