“This wonderful park has a lot to offer. It has a large fenced in playground area that is divided into two separate parts to keep the little children separated from the bigger kids. The playgrounds has a host of playing equipment and swings including swings for handicapped accessibility. The center of the playground has picnic tables that have a cover over them. The park has bathrooms, a drinking fountain, two tennis courts, open fields for play and more picnic tables under a large tree. The park has walking paths. The walking paths near the playground are paved while the walking paths on the southern and eastern edges are crushed stone. If you follow the crushed stone path to the northeast side side of the park you will see a sign providing information about creek restoration work. There are trails through the small wooded are to the creek where you can see the Ashbidge Creek Restoration. If you are planning on playing a game at the park on a Sunday be aware they have a sign posted on the tennis courts that reads in part "Sunday games of any kind are prohibited ..."”
