  Hands down the best park in SA! You have to come here no matter what your interests are.
  
  My only petition is that they please fix the tower on top of the hill. This will give us the most fascinated hill top pics for all of us and those who visit us.

  Nice short hike and trail. Easy to hike and complete the bigger loop in about 1.5 hours if you keep a good pace. It has sort of an observation wood tower but its closed so you can’t go up.

  Good close-to-the-city park that doesn't feel like I'm immersed in civilization. Great options of both paved and dirt/rock trails. Plenty of loop options that you can add together to create as long or as short of an experience as you're craving. Parking lot looked busy, but very few people actually seen on the trails once I got moving.

  Great place to take a hike! This was my first time out at Eisenhower park and was treated to the trails. I was mislead into thinking that we were going to do," Something easy." Hill country Trail #4 isn't arduous but, it isn't a stroll on pavement either.
  We missed our exit and ended up turning it into a 5 mile hike instead of 4. Good cardio and workout for my short legs!????

  Great park for hiking with your dog. My dog absolutely loves this place and gets excited as soon as I turn off 1604! The park has ample parking, bathrooms, play area, covered picnic tables, and several natural trails that intersect and/or circle the park as well as paved and improved footpaths with shaded sitting areas. Recommend plenty of water, sunscreen and a sun hat since shade can be minimal on some trails. Only improvements I would recommend for EP are overhead cover for the water fountains, water bottle refill station, and better signage on the trails. The fountains are in direct sun which can make these too hot to touch or drink from at times here in Texas. Adjusting these to include a water bottle refill station would support those doing longer walks, hikes, and runs and also help the environment. More readable signage throughout the park is needed, especially for the outer loop trails since these are possibly missing or not pointing in the correct direction. It's not an overly large park so you'll eventually find your way out, find an intersect, or a trail that leads to the lookout and back to the parking lot. However, the lack of clear signage is confusing if you're not familiar with the park and was very frustrating/concerning during an unexpected, fast-moving lightning thunderstorm. Otherwise, one of my favorite places to hike in the area with my dog.
