“Great restaurant! Good menu with lots of options to pick from. I went for the first time recently for a graduation dinner (reservation required) and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the Mediterranean pasta and it was light and fresh. The servers were great, except that they constantly forgot to bring butter with the bread and our group of 50+ was literally begging for butter. If it wasn’t for the inattentiveness from the servers, this would easily be a 5 star rating. I’d definitely recommend!”

“Good seafood in an open environment. Nice drink selection with available specials. This particular location was rather slow service-wise though. We went to meet four other people there. They didn't have glasses up front for either of the drinks my wife and I ordered. Took forever for the waiter to get them to us. Five of six entrees arrived, my wife had to wait yet again for her burger to come out. Kudos for offering a military discount. Will return but most likely to the one closer to our house since they seem to have their stuff together.”

“Great place to grab a bite to eat and drink some beer. A flight was 4 beers and it was about $9 i think. Also tried their beef and veggie soup. It was good. Alot of people were eating their pizzas though. My husband filled up a 64oz growler for $16. They could not fill our smaller growler though (which is why I knocked off a star, they should have been able to do that). Service was great, restrooms were clean, beers were good.”

“No people skills, but in the 2 years I have been going, only once have my buttons been broken and for me that's a big deal considering I usually dry clean or launder at least 40 button shirts each time I go. Again, don't expect any personality or friendliness but they will do a good job. p.s...I have run into the little notes as well, again and the other review is correct. Went to purchase a new smoker and was greeted at door with a welcome. Was approached in the outdoor cooking section and was informed of stock levels and options for pickup and delivery. Decided to purchase. Was shown all stick on hand and asked to choose the one I preferred. Checkout was simple and staff was pleasant. I have not had great experiences at other locations, but I'll check this one out in the future if I need to go to Academy.”
