“Coldest night in three years and we have a burst pipe and an unrelated water heater issue. Jan (if it is Jen I am so sorry...not good with names) had the knowledge to ask about the water heater issue and knew enough about the system to know ours was under warranty for the failure we were experiencing. She got us on the list and now at 12:33am someone is here working on our issues. It is stupid cold outside but they are here. Not enough words to express our gratitude for helping us.”

“This is a very good home neighborhood convenience store. Good family that runs it. Always familiar hello when you come in. It is clean and always smells nice. Well organized and stocked. They carry good essentials on hand. They're not a huge grocery store but they are smart as to what sells and stock it. I love that I can pay for a soda refill when I bring my cup back for a $1.08 refill. AND For the Tax day floods and the floods a month later, this Star Foods store donated over 20 bags of ice to the Sawdust Baptist Church to help keep the food cold over there. And they also said to come back for more ice if more was needed. This is our family neighborhood store. Glad they're in the neighborhood!”
