“Small little park. Kind of wish there was a fenced in area for dogs to run around in. But overall the park was clean, with clear walkways. Nice touch of nature.”

“Well maintained and has double gate entry for safety, as well as a section to hose off muddy dogs. Separate areas for smaller and larger dogs (60+ lbs). Covered and uncovered picnic table seating, water stations, and plenty of poo bag stations for those respectful enough to use. Plenty of friendly owners that are conscientious of their dogs interactions.”

“Very dog-friendly park! Good combination of paved trails, gravel trails, and rough trails. Along the nature trail, there are mile markers and little placards that give you information about flora and fauna in the area. There are creeks and a pond, an amphitheater, a playground and a dog park. Nice combination of mown grass and wild areas. If your dog likes to chase squirrels like min does, it is ideal.”

“My husband and I love camping at Loyd Park. We tent camp and can find shady campsites and a lot of them are secluded. That's important for us. We usually stay for about 7 days. We have a lot of camping gear so it takes us awhile to set up and take down. They have upgraded some bathrooms and they're really nice. Separate rooms not just stalls. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a store where you can buy things that you might have forgot and you can rent kayaks. You can bring your own firewood or buy theirs. The sites have a covered picnic table and firepit and usually a grill. Come stay here for camping or a day trip. You won't be disappointed.”

“My almost weekly destination. It's my go to park to sit and write, take a stroll down at the Lake edge. It's maintained so well. So many amenities. I have turned on so many friends to visit this Fantastic Park and they all agree, it has so many camping options. Can't wait to stay in the cabins, so many to choose from. The ones right on the water captured my heart...”

“Excellent resource. I use the running path frequently. If you are interested in knowing, the full circle path around the park is exactly 0.4 miles. There's a nice incline and decline section to it. It really helps develop the legs.”

“Great campground if you're looking for a paid site with toilets and water. The location is beautiful and there's even dispersed camping if you hike a bit back, along the river. The lady that tends the ground and takes payment is a bit strange and will talk your ear off, but she keeps the grounds nice and has firewood for sale and lots of great information!”

“They have given the best care, to my children, out of all the dentist offices that we've been to. All Smiles Dental left my oldest with no one to finish his orthodontic care after their medicare fraud scandal. South Texas Dental did not make his visits to the dentist pain-free. So he has always been scared to have his teeth pulled. To have my son smiling after just a day of having his wisdom teeth pulled, without complications, is such a blessing. They also work very well with my autistic son, who is my youngest. All Smiles Dental abused him during an oral surgery procedure, when he was 1 year old, and he cried all day afterwards. He even woke up from his sleep screaming. I can appreciate everything AmeriSmiles has done so far.”
