“This is a very nice cafe with a decent espresso. The espresso is creamy, rich, nutty and sweet. They offer only one type of beans, which is a bland. Double shot is served as sufficiently short (my guess is 1:2 input-output ratio). Laptop friendly.”

“As far as hotels go, this place is doing pretty well. It is one of the few hotels that has a bar and restaurant, even if the offerings are slim. It is nicely located near the mall, so if you need to do some shopping, it is working walking distance. The rooms are nice, I recently stayed in a single King suite. The entrance to the room is separated from the rest of the suite, and acts like an office of sorts. If you need to work from your hotel room, it would make an ideal makeshift cubicle. The bedroom was on the other side of the bathroom, so it was nice and quiet even with the TV in the front room on. The bed is nice and comfortable, and everything was fairly clean. Overall, this hotel is definitely on my "return visit" list.”

“This is a nice and pricey hotel to have its hallways full of trash. Not even Motel 6 has its hallways like this 😠…… So it’s been two months since I initially gave this review. Well, I’ve been back a few more times and I have to say that I haven’t seen the hallways like before. Everything is nice and clean now. I’m impressed. Thank you guys! 👏🏼”

“From the valet to the front desk to housekeeping to the bar to the restaurants I experienced nothing but great service, good food and had a ball at the hotel! Went to the room to find a cowboy hat that I LOVED and wore my whole trip to Dallas! I loved the comfortable robe left on the bed for me too! Just everything was so good!!! I genuinely have no complaints at all!!! Even the rain on Memorial Day couldn’t take the smile off my face, we still got in the heated pool & the jacuzzi!!! I can’t wait to come back and stay at this beautiful hotel!!! Shout out to Austin my Valet who kept my car looking good and close by & called me by my name every time!! “They were great to us! Starting with helping me out after my phone DL and debit card was stolen. They helped me to get a room and were very kind.. Lucy in house keeping was really nice and helpful! The rooms were clean and spacious and a great view of the beach! We will be staying here again on our next trip... great people and atmosphere! “We had a very unusual stay here. During the snow storm last week when the state of Texas was without power, we were without power and water for 4 days and had not showered in 4 days. We were welcomed to come in and use a room to take a shower. Room was clean, warm and lights and heat was on all ready for us. Amazing service and friendliness from the staff!!!”

“Oh my! We had an exceptional two night stay at Park Lane Guest House. The owner made us feel ever so welcome and the property is just wonderful. The fresh breakfast was everything we had hoped it would be and the spectacular outdoor shower was a wonderful, nice surprise. The B&B is in an exceptional location too. We walked all around SOCO and into Downtown no problem. There are a plethora of bars and eateries nearby too. If you find yourself in Austin, look no further. We had a memorable stay.”

“Went with a small group of 15 people. The service was outstanding and all the plates were reported to be wonderful. The prices are on the high side for lunch. The restaurant reminded me of many European cafes we have visited. Service is not rushed and very attentive. We were there over two hours for our lunch. If you want to take your time and enjoy your food, the atmosphere, the scenery overlooking the river and your company, this is a great place to go. You won't be disappointed. The only downside was trying to find it. It is separate from the rest of the food court in the Armature Works and can only be accessed from the outside. Almost everyone in our group had a problem finding it. It is at the far southwest corner of the building. They also have some vegetarian options.”
