“I was able to get a large double room for a 3 night/4 day long weekend in July for a amazing price! It's located right across from Galveston beach and seawall. The location was amazing. I had surprised my kids and husband with a beach trip. It was our kids 1st time to go on a beach vacation and everything was completely ideal for the experience we were wanting to have. And especially for my budget. Kids were 6 and 7 years old so they were both very excited about playing on the beach and floating around close to the shoreline. The hotel is a few miles down the seawall where it's quieter than down the other side of the seawall Blvd where the majority of the hotels and bars and Pier attraction, yet close enough to get the car and go explore the other sites and attractions Galveston has to offer! There are many more amenities that the hotel offers their guests at no extra charge. Loved it and we will be back there again this summer! Yay ????”

Only complaint was food at the cafe was not great, bathtub not clean (but everything else was) and the hot tub was actually cold when we went. I do highly recommend overall! We did the aquarium and rainforest pyramids and loved it.”

“No complaints. There was a gap on the lower left side of door. Door doesn't close flush with frame, so you can see daylight. Otherwise room and stay were good, staff courteous. Wish the former Motel 6 by the seawall was still in the chain. This one a little far from where we prefer to be. We will probably stay again. No extra charge for pets is a plus.”

“At Spoonbill RV park they have a very friendly staff felt just like family, they make you feel right at home. This RV park has a nice area to fish, campsites are clean. We had a very nice peacefull week there, I caught my first fish, a black drum (wearing red), we caught several of them, others caught other kind of fish I'm new to the fishing game so this was a pretty exciting experience for me and my husband we can't wait to go again to relax, do some more fishing, and enjoy the view.”
