“Wonderful combination of pool, playground, and sports fields. Come here quite often for swimming and soccer. Be careful- the pool is CLOSE on Friday. Well maintained park. Pool staff are very friendly and helpful. The little bridge cross the creek is a bonus sight!”

“This is a great little park for walking, running, or walking the dog. There are nice pathways around a retention pond/large ditch you can walk, soccer fields, and a basketball hoop. It is usually peaceful, and it’s convenient to access.”

“Great park for dogs. Huge space for large dogs to run around and get into dog shenanigans. The small dog park is also very nice. However it could do with an update to some of the play areas and maybe another fountain for drinking, humans too.”

“This a great park. It has a area for your dogs, has a trail to the back that connects to another park. A skate park and mini, gated soccer field. Not to mention plenty of kid slides and swings, also new water fountain for kids on summer. Yes they got basketball courts and a decent workout area semi roofed for exorcising.”

“Our favorite dog park! If you park on the Meyer Park side, you will have to walk to the very far back. If you want to walk less, then park behind the Stuebner Airline Veterinary Hospital. There is a dirt path that will take you right to the dog park. I really enjoy this entrance because I don't have to walk through the park with hundreds of squirrels, driving my dogs nuts! There's also a nice pond next to the dog park with a trail and you can walk around that too with your dogs (on leash of course). The dog park for the small dogs and big dogs are great. Sometimes it is really annoying to see dog owners who don't pick up after their dogs because I have one that likes to eat poop! It would be great if people can pick up after their dogs. Also if your dog is over the size limit for the small park, please do not bring your dog in because your dog will scare smaller dogs (the very reason why we have two different parks). I advise you not to go after a heavy rain as the drainage isn't the best, but a day after, it will be great! Plenty of trees, shade, and seating area.”

“Love this park! Love that it has 3 different play areas for different age children & level of physical capabilities. It has bathrooms, but pretty sure there's no changing table. Many benches and picnic tables. Plenty of room to run around and play. Has a walking/jogging path. There's a bike trail that goes through it. A pond with fish, turtles, and ducks. They have a big enclosure filled with a type of bird, don't remember what kind, it's pretty neat. There are soccer fields and a concession stand. In the summer/hot months, I always wish there was a bit more shade. But the place is kept very well maintained.”

“Very cool place. Trains look great and the ride they take you on is a good distance. I went on one of the public days, where they just take donations. Line wasn't terribly long, and moved quickly. I have two young boys and they really liked it. They're are bathrooms and they sell some drinks and shirts, etc. The members who run the trains were all pretty nice. One let my oldest son now the horn. Made his day.”

“Great place just make sure you do not leave valuables in your car, at this park unless you want them to disappear. The most important thing to know when coming here is to DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLE. IF YOU DO PEOPLE WILL BREAK INTO YOUR VEHICLE, and FIND WHERE YOU HID THEM. DON'T BE STUPID AND THINK IT WON'T HAPPEN TO YOU. IT'S NOT IF......IT'S A MATTER OF WHEN. And if you have left stuff in your vehicle, and nothing has happened yet. Then you have been very fortunate. ** The park is only as safe as you make it. Don't be a victim. Don't bring cash, credit cards, social security cards,or anything you don't want to disappear. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS and you should be fine. AGAIN if you FAIL TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE and your vehicle gets broken into, don't look for a Pity party for your own stupidity. For Christ sake it's Houston people and not the best surrounding area of town. No playground area just a spot for baseball,if your kids are enrolled in that sport.”

“Nice park and trails. I've never been on the weekend, but it is usually quiet during the week, which I prefer. Good place to bring your dog, but please clean up after your pet. Most people seem to ignore this despite posted signs.”
