“Good open place for flying a drone. Good scenes, lots of birds and wildlife. Haven't been in the new building, but it looks very nice, and it's an awesome walking trail!”

“Great place for a walk(/ride/run if so inclined) while bird-watching! Nice assortment of aquatic birds that increases during migration periods. Pathways are very smooth and level for those needing an even walking surface, but walking closer (downhill) to water to get close-up snaps of birds can be a bit less even (& steep in places).”

“Great organization from what I can perceive; my kids play for another organization, not nearly as well run as PLL.”

“Great park, a real hidden gem! Surprising that I didn't hear about it till earlier, given that I live so close by. Definitely worth a visit, with some nice nature trails and a great place to sit right next to the water. Good tree cover, so summer sun is not such a big issue.”

“Great hidden area in Houston can't believe I found the spot thought I was looking at a park but there is only two trails like this in Houston. There is three in to go inside so pick a good spot and you can enjoy the nature. I definitely will take a date and come here often just to walk the trails”

“A fantastic hidden gem hidden near Memorial and Beltway 8. I was surprised with the woodsie shade and numerous trails. The design was nice and easy to view the birds in the trees. I was impressed with the lazy creek that flows through the Audubon park. A few mini bridges that cross the creek were well built and nice to look over and take pics of birds or simply hang out and listen to the many bird songs. Thankful its 10min from my house.”

“Great little park. I love the trail and playground. Covered pavilion is nice. Only downsides are no restroom and no covering for the playground.”

“This is a very nice walking trail. It is wide and the path is flat and even. The only thing to make it better would be some nice, shady trees. Trees have been planted, but are too young to provide shade yet.”

“More of a field than a park. Hard to play because the surface is uneven, though mowed grass makes it look like level ground. There's a walking path loop that is 0.2 miles long. Along the walk there are workout equipment. It is a good looking field, but nothing else much.”

“This is a child friendly pool, it is good to hang out with family and friends. I totally recommend coming here because you will have a fun time. The lifeguards are on point, they are very helpful and you can count on them for anything.”

“Very spacious, my dog gets to really tire himself out. Never too crowded, good to meet a few dogs here and there so the dog gets sowly more socialized”

“it was so romantic and quiet and the whole time I was there laying out on on the palate with the breeze with the small sprinkle of rain, people don't mess with you you .can stay there and sleep all day on the blanket under a tree with a significant other and enjoy your time with your mate”

“This is a great state park with friendly staff. We saw lots of creatures. There were gravel walking paths and elevated trails where you can view the wetland prairie or the stocked fish ponds. We saw lots of birds, a couple of alligators in the ponds, fish and frogs. The facilities are pretty good with a nice outdoor restroom area.”

“This was a nice park. Lots of equipment in good condition, pretty clean, seems well maintained. They have lots of interactive and educational games as well. Bathrooms are close to the playground. The only concern I had was about this rock archway they had connected to the playground equipment for kids to climb out on the top of...just seems dangerous, especially when you have a kid who's a little too brave sometimes!”
Address: 12303 Sonnier St, Houston, TX 77044, USA
“This is a great park. It's huge, has numerous playgrounds for kids of any age, and even a senior area and a workout area for adults. The only reason I can't give it five is that the bathrooms could be cleaner and the lights under the pavilions are scary filthy with webs, dirt, and dead bugs. The newly smoothed trails are fantastic.”
