Bobwhite Park

Address: 11711 Henderson Dr, Frisco, TX 75035, USA

Park

“A very nice and quiet community park located near Panther Creek. It’s not too big not too small but has a good and peaceful vibe to it. The park has few mobile trash bins and right at the center is a lovely spot with few benches and many trees. It also has drinking fountain at the center. Good spot for a walk, run, baseball or just to relax! There’s good space for kids to run around and play. It also has couple of baseball cages. You get a nice sunset view here with the dusk colors showing up really well. Once it’s dark, it’s better to get home because there isn’t much light around. The ground looks even but there are some uneven spots/holes around, so you need to be careful. There’s no designated parking spaces and you’ll have to park beside the road except for a small spot at the entrance to the park.”

Lubbock KOA Campground & RV Park

“This camping spot was accommodating to our needs, we felt safe, and it's in a convenient location. We enjoyed the drive-in movie theater nearby. The time of year that we visited the KOA had dead vegetation, hopefully there is more green grass and nice trees according to their pictures. The dog park access was convenient, we really liked this place, we will stay again. Military discount and location near Texas Tech was our main considerations.”

The Light Park

Campground Park Lodging

“A MUST DO FOR CHRISTMAS IN THE DFW AREA This was easily one of the most beautiful activities I have done this year with friends! I purchased a ticket during the week, so when I went, the traffic was very light and I got to drive through the entire light maze in peace. PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR HEADLIGHTS as the person behind me was rushing and had his high beams on. I was going 5 MPH and he was not happy about how slowly I was taking it, but oh he waited. If you drive slowly through, it will take about 15 minutes to drive through the entire thing. DON'T BE THAT JERK THAT RUINS OTHERS EXPERIENCE BY RUSHING THROUGH IT AND NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS TO TURN OFF THE LIGHTS! I have to give the creators of this event major props for their hard work and creativity. The light set up is impressive, and they have a radio station synchronized with their lights, so it just really wraps everything up so perfectly. The amazing benefit of this place is that you are inside your vehicle at all times. This is family friendly, and a great way to social distance without having to be close to strangers. I hope you give this one a chance, you will not regret it!”

“Finally got out to this privately-owned cave and it was very much worth it. Our guide was a VERY enthusiastic young lady and she did a great job. These caverns are worth your time to reserve a spot to tour. They hold monthly concerts and host weddings in the caverns, too, so pretty fascinating. Great story behind the discovery of the cave itself as well. Really enjoyed it.”

“I haven’t ever been to a cleaner resort! Rooms are immaculate, super clean, smelled fresh, and the set up was absolutely professional. What the rooms didn’t have the front desk had by request (like a hair dryer). They had fresh hot coffee in the office in the morning. The park itself is quiet and friendly maintenance men. Office lady’s are positive and put you in a great mood every time. Housekeeping just blows us away. Motel rooms, Kitchenettes, and suites. My family has stayed in them all numerous times and I will forever be a huge fan of the Sandollar!”

Windmill Park

Address: 6936 Park Pl Dr, Richland Hills, TX 76118, USA

Park

“The thing about this little park is that it's usually very quiet, even when other people are there. It's small (about a quarter acre) and there's not a ton of amenities, but it's a great space to take a book on a nice day and sit on a bench for awhile. Fun little neighborhood place to get away from the house.”

“Entrances need work. Theyre adding more spaces. The owner is super nice and helpful. Close to the highway so you'll hear that noise. Residents are quiet though. Has on-site laundry and soda machines and a coin change machine! Rv spaces are spacious, fit 2 trucks or maybe 3 cars. All spaces have picnic tables which is nice. All spaces are paved too and have 2 sewage connections. Electric connections are also super nice and organized and light up when on and turn off when there's an outage so that's helpful in a storm.”

Tierra Buena Dog Park

Address: 12701 Pebble Hills Blvd, El Paso, TX 79936, USA

Park

“Well it is big and it is wide open except for three trees out in the middle? But I've got a couple agility items spaced all around and it is well fence oh, they have concrete at the bottom along with the nice metal post. They also have one poop bag dispenser and one trash can. They do have two benches though, one is covered and one is not. I will say that you can park right next to the dog park. Which seems kind of cool at first. But then you realize you have to walk all the way down about a city block to get into the dog park so it's kind of a when lose or when when I wish it would spell it right hahaha maybe it's telling me something anyway it's a nice dog park! Just be sure to bring water!”

Nice, friendly, quiet little neighborhood especially the management. If you need help someone is surely around to lend you a hand.”

Cottonwood Park

“‼️We absolutely love Cottonwood Park‼️ Visiting on Easter was definitely packed but my daughter and I made and met some unexpected friends. We enjoyed the tennis courts for the first time, inspired by the Venus & Serena story. It was a great workout. Families were out enjoying so it was very nice. We had a little boy approach my daughter advising she was his best friend and Angel who played us a few games, teaching us how to play. We enjoy the play area and watching the ducks.”

Keystone Heritage Park and the El Paso Desert Botanical Garden

Address: 4200 Doniphan Dr, El Paso, TX 79912, USA

Art gallery Park

“Not a bad place to come visit and get a hike in. It's great that this park is right inside the city and so accessible. The wetlands are unusual and a good reprieve from the typical desert around here. The desert botanical gardens are nice but it feels a bit sun-dried at this point and could use some new signage and some more healthy foliage. The Paraje Primitive Camp display was well done and there's a very neat labyrinth maze that I think kids would enjoy.”

“Very beautiful, maintained park, has very huge spaces with kids park, swimming pool, pond etc. good for kids and adults. Has lot of parking spaces as well. Can book it for gatherings. I don't have her contact information. I wish she would correct her review and put it on the correct RV park she stayed at. John Sivek.”
