“Great playground for ages 3-12. Lots of interesting equipment that you don't see at other parks. Lots of soccer fields around so there are picnic tables and porta-potties. There's a walking/biking/running path, too, but our time was spent at the playground. We definitely plan to return!”

“Walked along the orange trail and watched people playing disc golf. Parked at Tree Line Park and crossed the bridge Saw some egrets along the way. Not much shade on the trail so walking here on a cooler day would be better. Next would like to explore the blue trail. Continuing to appreciate the public spaces in DFW”

“Great place to let the puppies meet and greet other pups... Our two girls love this dog park. They get so excited every time we take them... They love the water splash pad to get a drink and there are usually tennis balls there in a basket so you don't always need to bring your own... Although perhaps recommended lol”

“The work that has been put into the rugby pitch makes a world of difference when playing. The surface is so much nicer, and definitely more even - no more large puddles in the middle of the pitch after it rains :)”

“Amazing park! Both jungle gym and more nature oriented playground with big rocks and logs for kids to jump and climb on. Well kept with plenty of trashcans around. Walk and biking paths. They have a splash pad there but I am unsure if it is useable.”

“The park is a nice size and there are lots of trees around. It's in a very quiet neighborhood which is nice because so many parks in Arlington seem to be located next to busy roads and all you here is the noise of traffic. The parking situation is a little odd. There is a parking lot, but it's not close to the playground. Normally I don't mind walking, but if I'm having to haul an exhausted toddler back to the car, it helps to be parked close by. The playground is nice and there are even a couple of outdoor exercise stations. No bathrooms or gazebos that I could see. It's always nice to have a bathroom at parks even if they cost some money to build and maintain. I personally think it's better than having little kids wet their pants or pee on bushes because there's no other option.”

“This place was great! Plenty of shade and picnic tables. The water was nice and shallow out to the buoy lines, perfect for small kids. Bathrooms were conveniently close to the beach area and we're clean. Online reservation system was easy to use; I am glad I knew about them in advance. Would be nice to have better signs indicating how to get to the water from the main road. Also, beware there are lots of burrs in the grass; wear water shoes or sandals. Overall still awesome though; we will definitely be back”

“My brother-in-law found this little nature preserve and we came to take photos together as a family. There are trails and these trees that have fallen over but are still healthy and strong. Our kids were able to climb and play with the trees like they were small juggle gyms, it was like an organic playground. It was a lot of fun and great way to spend the afternoon. We all wore masks and the space is pretty big. Most other people I saw were wearing a masks too but not everyone so just have to keep a safe distance.”

“Its a very nice place. The playground doesn't have shade and the trail goes into places that are kinda hard to see. I recommend you take a buddy or supervise your children. There is also the occasional homeless person under the pavilion but they don't bug people very much.”
