“I love the walkways, the water, the ducks. My children like the playground area except for at the moment we of course are not utilizing that part. I do wish there wasn't so much duck poop on the walkways but I guess that comes with there being so many ducks and other birds - which I do enjoy. In summer we like to go to the sprinkler area. All in all we enjoy coming here.”

It was also just us on our tour, so she was able to talk directly with us and answer our individual questions. It made for a very personalized experience. “Despite the neighborhood surrounding it, this park is absolutely incredible! I’ve come back many times to walk here since I first visited. Paved walk ways all throughout. Beautiful views of the lake. A few bridges along the way. Coffee shop there is delicious. Little hidden gem. Lots of area to walk and take in the scenery. Plenty of areas to stop along the way and go fishing. Historical marker with the history of the park. An outdoor workout area with equipment as well, although I didn’t use any of it. This is definitely a place I will visit regularly.”

They have plenty of training but I have had here that are fantastic but today I could not pass up the boozy coffee. Really hits the spot. The atmosphere is perfectly Austin.
